A lovely remote camping stay. Chalets also available. Very friendly owner who also showed us the process for harvesting and drying Red Bush tea. Swimming pool, lovely walks. Braai lapa available in case of bad weather.
Report Check-InYeah, not much shade here, but we found some at the edge of the campground under a acacia tree, good enough to spend a couple of hours preparing food etc. The campsite itself is nothing special but there's so much to do in their property that you won't spend much time at the campsite anyways. Several well marked hiking trails with rock pools, waterfalls, caves and some impressive bushmen paintings on the way. Take a book and a picnic and spend the day in the shade of hanging rocks taking a refreshing swim in the natural pools from time to time. There's also a 4x4 trail on which they allow you to wild camp along the way. All that for R100 ppn, we found it well worth the money! Came for 1 night and stayed 3. Plus you can use the swimming pool and wifi at lodge area. They have several self catering cottages starting at 800R for 2 people per night. While all campsites we've been to during South African holidays were crowded, in this one we were all alone throughout our stay. PEACE! 😆 We honestly loved our stay!
