Latest Check-Ins

The place is empty, without people, and seems abandoned. The road to get there is terrible, and you have to cross a river that is quite deep.

El lugar está vacío, sin gente para preguntar, y parece abandonado. El camino hasta allí es malísimo y hay que cruzar un río que es bastante hondo. NO RECOMIENDO ir hasta allí

Very nice camping. My RV is 23 1/2 feet long and park next to the tiny house. I pay $20.00 BD with electricity. GPS doesn’t take you always to the campground.

Great spot but more camping for tents.
You can park on the street and use the facilities but does does not really have a spot for Rv’s.
Carren is friendly and helpful!

This place seems not to exist anymore. There is still a sign at the corner of the street, but we couldn't find the place. There was only a new house which was closed.

Tiny Houses is still open, you can either stay at one of their Tiny Cabins (with everything you need, kitchen, bathrooms with shower and plenty of bank beds) or you can camp on their grounds. We stayed on our Van, usually there are bathrooms outside (not sure how they look like, since it was raining the owner let us use one of the bathrooms of an empty cabin). There are also picnic tables outside.
Behind the gate there is space to park one small car, we were parking with our minivan and we couldn't close the gate doors so anything bigger needs to be parked outside, the place is quiet and safe.

Karen, the young owner of this place, is very welcoming. She charges 10B$/motorhome or tent. If you are coming with a 7m motorhome, you have to park outside the fenced property (still, it feels very safe). To connect to electricity, you need at at least 25m cable. Rustic toilet and shower.

Got here late and after much calling, talked to someone who said the owner only allows guests who make a reservation or arrive until 5. Maybe still a COVID thing, as they just opened land borders a week ago.

update: they now also have wifi. not the most reliable one, but it works at times :)

We stayed in one of the tiny houses for three nights and absolutely loved it. It's such a lovely place and obviously the owner has put a lot of effort in making it more like a home to travelers, not just a accommodation for short stay. It has almost everything you'd need: double bed room, living area with a table and chairs, kitchen area with fridge and everything, bath room with hot shower, a loft with a big mattress and a lot of room for kids to play...It has no wifi which is not convenient, but for the price...No A/C but we had no problem at night in late July, actually it's quite cool and comfy with the help of two fans. Overall strongly recommended.

Friends teaveling with us stayed in the cute cabanas for 60 Belize per night, we camped on our truck camper for 10 Belize. We enjoyed our stay. Nice cold outdoor shower for campers, large firepit. The owner is not onsite so you may want to call or email before you arrive.
