Description

When you here to kite- or windsurf this is the place to stay. It's a hostel with plenty of space around to camp and the nearest camping to the lake. It has a kitchen you can use. Breakfast is included. Sanitary is okay, shower is hot. WiFi is superslow. There is a comunal room to eat and a nice courtyard to chill. It has a good asado place too. The vibe is really layed back and the people are awesome. Manu is very welcoming and Mariano is a fantastic cook.
200 pp to camp, a bit steep, the atmosphere makes it worthwhile.

Beautiful place, very nice staff. But we ended up not staying as the price would have been 11‘000 ARS (15 €) per night for two in the car and we were not offered a more reasonable price. Instead went to the lake and had a great time there for free.

This place was recommended to us after looking for a windfree spot (we travel by car and rooftoptent). We thought about sleeping in a hostel for one night, but after seeing the dormitorios (they were ok) and hearing the price we ran away. (30€/ppn). Crazy. In stead we found a windfree spot a bit further thanks to ioverlander (see 'the place to be!').

The place sure looks nice, but I was not too enthusiastic about the place. WiFi is hard to reach and super slow. Don’t take the ‘breakfast-included’ option, as it really only some stale coffee and old bread which you can toast in a non working toaster. The ‘lovely dogs’ leave their sh*t all over the place, so be careful when you return to your tent or vehicle at night… I moved on after one night.

perfect place if you want to learn kitesurf and chill in a comfortable environment. The owner is super friendly, for 80.000 pesos, you have three days of classes for 2 people, and 2 nights with breakfast at the hotel. You

The owners are lovely, the lake is beautiful! We paid 400 each for a night. We have a rooftoptent, for daytime its to windy to keep it open but we did this in the night when the wind got less. The showers and toilets are nice.

We pulled in here for camping. It’s a lovely place and they do amazing pasta but we were told they only allow camping for tents. They directed us down to the beach Playa Lamaral where Alice and Marcel run a windsurfing school, confiteria and campsite. See separate entry for that. Highly recommended.

We came here as everything else was closed. Now they want 300 pp and there's NO wifi. Too pricey for us just to have a shower.
