Oct 2020 - Parking lot is under construction, unable to stay at this time . Cross with ferry and stay on Galveston side
Level area with several camp spots right by the water facing the bay, not the open ocean. Lots of trash around, as well as some building ruins. Some ferry noise, depending on where the wind comes from. Had a stormy night. I wouldn't stay here during extreme weather like a hurricane. Okay spot, not too pretty though. Free.

Frenchtown Rd to the end of W Frenchtown Rd at east end of ferry route. Secluded. On small protected harbor within sight of the terminal. Not the prettiest spot, and some trash lying around. Commercial ship traffic around. Fog horns. Etc. level. Hard packed. Lots of room. Free spots are hard to find in these parts. Especially around Spring Break (early March). Took the ferry over from Galveston. It’s free. We’re in a 30’ Class A Motorhome. No problem. Excellent ATT signal.
Report Check-Infree ferry with seagul and dolphin. Both side as nice beach but more quiet on the Bolivar side
