No beach any more: It’s all rocks. The surf was too small and the bottom of the ocean is all rocks so we didn’t stay. Road to come in a little rough but doable with 2WD. Lots of space to park next to the « beach ». We were alone. Windy.

skip Scorps and just come here, nicest people of any town I've been to in Mexico. Everyone smiles and waves; and when the surfs up, it's perfection.

great place to park and surf right on the water edge. look for Villa Peter sign from the highway for the tunnoff. easy road from hwy to water edge.

Okay access from the main road. Parking on the bluff with the view on the ocean and access to the beach Very windy with blowing fine sand from the desert. Quiet and free.

Dry camping spots along the beach between Captain Petter's and Kite El Nirvana. I drove in here in a 25' class C no problem. There are some sites north and south of here; just watch out for sandy sections. Two foot and above is totally surf-able and fun. Great beach-combing in both directions. The sun rises over the Pacific! Down the beach is north; up the beach is south. Lots of new construction since 2020 visit. Get it while you can and keep it clean. Abreojos and La Bocana are really nice little towns with very friendly people. Get used to smiling and waving. Minimal cell reception. Road is paved all the way; most of the potholes have been fixed. One detour at a culvert.

Great camp spot. Felt safe here. Couple of other vans. Lots of seashells. No surf when we were here for a night. Paved rd all the way to where you turn at the waypoint. The blue building is a house that is down the dirt rd a ways.

Nice flat area for camping. Seems safe, there were a couple other campers. Looks like a longboard wave. Windy and beautiful.

Such a nice place ! We arrived there and thinking of staying one or two days but we stayed 5 days instead. The only bad thing of this place it’s the flies…
Surf is great, small but great waves for longboard. Everyone is super friendly and it felt very safe !
Before coming here, make sure you get some grocery and some water (we didn’t find a place to fill up our water tank with a hose)
No cell reception even in town there is no 3G.

Beautiful spot but tons of flies. After the blue house look out to the left at maybe a 45 degree angle. You’ll see a few roads and what appear to be lit markers. The camp spots sit about 5’ or so above the actual beach and when the tide goes out it reveals a lot of rocks which may not be great for fishing. It is windy - when we were in town there was zero wind but when we got to this spot we had about 10-15 mph from the south all day. Tons of diving birds, a dolphin or two, and what may have been whales way of in the distance. Town is cool but I’d probably just use this spot for the night while passing through.

Looks like there will soon be a campground next to these spots with some very, very nice palapas.

Great spot, no trash let's keep it that way. Noone else around but felt very safe there are some houses nearby.
Unfortunately no surf and sooo many flies so we only stayed one night.

Meet up with friends specifically to surf, this is an awesome spot, ton of flat spaces to camp right on the water, great point break, the only things that suck are there are a ton of bugs!! And a good amount of wind which unfortunately doesn’t discourage the bugs from attacking still. No need for high clearance and 2wd is fine. Town is super close, had some spotty service, would def stay here again!

blue building is near coast, not near paved road...but yes when you see it take the dirt track that winds its way to coast, past blue building. road continues all along the coast with plenty of flat spots to camp...solid enough, a bit sandy. wouldn't want to trailer anything along the sandy road.

surf break is seasonal, could be a small point there otherwise check down the coast for potential beach break. LOTS OF STINGRAYS. locals sometimes wear funny foam boots to walk the first bit of the break...otherwise they have all been hit by a ray.

main point break is in town.

If you made it this far you can keep the secret. Turn left after you see the Blue house. Road is solid, several sites on the coast. No facilities, fees, and you should leave no trace.

We checked all the other places and this is the best one! Less windy, because of the bay, and less exposed than the other ones. We were alone the 2 days, had a lovely small beach to swim and you can see dolphins all day!!! Beautiful place!!

Nice site for one night-a little windy, but not too bad. We are only ones here. Saw dolphins & birds. Expected bigger surf here, better in Bahia Asuncion.

Camped here but there was no surf! Quite a nice spot we chose next to some old fire pits just away from the parking point. Nothing around, town isn’t too far to get supplies. Worth a visit :)

Turn towards the water when you see the small blue building. It leads to a surf spot where many campsites are available. We were camping here with another bunch of people, all gringo surfers.

View to the ocean is great. It might get windy though as there is no protection. There are some fire pits around. Dolphins are a constant sight... some surfing too.

Easily accessible on anything as big as a sprinter but maybe not by a massive bus.
