Description

Amazing place to spend the day and the night. Trail thru Several waterfalls to see, swim, and jump. Also the river. All Beautiful in this lovely ecopark. Jorge , the owner built all the infraestructure with love and Care. they have also a restaurant with very good local food. We ate a complete menú with fish, patacones, rice and salad for 4$. We spent the night at the parking Lot. Safe and Nice. We highly recommend this place. If you camp in tent you can choose to do it right Next to the river or the waterfalls.

Espectacular lugar.

Just don't go there with children. Our kid wanted to take a picture of a kitten and was bitten 3 times by their monkey. Appartently he wanted to defend his territory...

An amazing place to be. José and his family, including all the animals are so friendly and nice. We spent 2 nights here, went for a beautiful hike to two waterfalls, viewpoints and a river. Had two times dinner, very delicious! Don't miss this place!

We spent two quiet nights here. Very recommandable place and the family is really nice. Camping is free but donation is welcomed.

We did the 10$ tour with a guide. You walk in the forest, learn about plants and enjoy different waterfalls where you can swim and the river too. The lunch is included and really good. If you want to plan the activities, you can write to them +593 9 8928-0334 in advance and ask what you can do (see picture)

A must to see! We spent two nights here in our camper and felt us in the middle of the jungle. A lovely family runs this amazing place. We enjoyed their tasty food an took a 3-h-tour to the waterfalls an pools. The canyoning with Hernan was such a great adventure! (25 USD incl. menu of choice/pers.). You can also extend your tour up to 2 days (with food and camping). Don‘t miss this pleace!
And, by the way, the monkeys here are so cute! We love this place.

We only spent the night here, but it was very peaceful and quiet. Jose, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming.
Basic toilet and shower available.
2,50 USD for 2 people and a van

Quiet stay for a Saturday night. The tent camping area is really nice, but there is no shade for vehicles, so by 9am is was hot, hot, hot. Bathrooms are pretty dirty, but functional. Wifi you need to ask them to put on, I think it’s a hotspot, so we only had it for about an hour. The hike is a slippery dissent about 10 minutes to the river, suggest wearing shoes and bringing bug spray. Family was really friendly, and a guide takes you down to the river/waterfalls. $3pp still.

fantastic camping experience with beautiful and peaceful setting in the jungle. It is still close enough to some shops and amenities and easy to reach from the main road. It has sufficient Wifi too and it is possible to use the kitchen facilities.
The family is very kind and down to earth. The kids and the animals are adorable too!

Such a lovely place! This family is so kind and offer very tasty food and tours for very few money! They even invinted us for lunch on the second day and the tour was much longer than it should habe been for no more money. Loved all the animals and especially the little monkeys that came by twice a day to eat bananas, we could see them from very very close. This is a very authentic jungle experience! Very recommendable!

Super nice place with gorgeous views and very welcoming owner. Just reopened after COVID restrictions, camped in the parkinglot, level grassy area surrounded by forrest. Very quite, only jungle noises

We stopped here just for lunch. Really good food and large quantity. Great view over the valley.

We really loved our two nights at Aguaventura. The owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly. We put our tent above the common space and it was amazing to listen to the bugs and rain all night in the fresh air. We arrived on bikes so we only did a small hike to the river and some waterfalls, but the water was amazing.
The food in the restaurant was also fantastic and very reasonably priced. A great place to spend a few days letting time slip away.
It is also worth noting that just 60 km away is the town of Coca. From here you can take a boat to Iquitos, Peru, the largest city in the world not reachable by car. From there you can continue by boat to Yurimaguas or fly into a larger city.

Beautiful place! You can camp for 3 dolars wherever you want(under the roof or down close to the waterfalls or next to the river) or for 5 dolars if you have to rent a tent. We camped next to the river, which was nice and quiet. They have good food there for about 4 dolars. Closeby there is also a small shop where you get a few vegetables(tomatoes and onions) and basic food, water...

Super friendly family in gorgeous location. only stayed one night so didn't have time to do adventure sports but looked real cool.

This is a really lovely place run by a very friendly and welcoming family. The owner offers guided tours through the jungle to waterfalls and shows you where to climb and jump off cliffs into the water. He took care of us very well while hiking and cleaned little rocks and branches out of the way. We paid $10pp for the most basic package since it is rainy season here and didn't want to get too crazy. The meal was included in the trekking price. We asked to camp and he said no problem, didn't ask for any extra money. Said it is safe here and so far very quiet. They have a restaurant and flush toilets. I haven't seen a shower but that's what waterfalls and rivers are for ;)
