One other vehicle here. Good access to coastal trail. Noisy until about 8pm.

Report Check-In

Gate seems to always be open. Parked here for the night and a full day. Beautiful views and we found a mostly flat pull out. There is eucalyptus trees (invasive) everywhere and it smells great! 2 bars of service and too many obstructions for starlink. Don’t plan to work from this location. But you can definitely stream movies.

Sleeped at tourist information. Forget to check in. whashroon when the place is opened. I did not ask permission.

Report Check-In

There was an RV with 2 other cars creating a fort and had a fire going on the center. We parked ~15 ft away from them in my crosstrek and got settled by 7:30pm. A truck came by around 10 and shined his brights in my side windows while we were rockin the boat iykyk. Left about a few minutes later.

We got in a little after 9 pm. Pulled up with two empty cars in the parking lot. Shortly after a truck and trailer pulled in. Got settled into bed around 10:00 pm. Around 11:00 pm a big tractor and another construction worker pulled in right next to us. Clearly they were upset we were there. They were being intentionally loud, banging in their tractor and saying, I thought camping wasn’t allowed here.” After about 15 minutes they were finished with whatever it was they were doing and left. Big, noisy construction trucks frequently sped by. No one bothered us and there are no no camping signs. It was a decent spot for the night but I will be taking a nap today. :) AT&T was in and out of service. Waking up to a beautiful view is never bad.

Not sure why the spot is on here twice but figured I’d put it in both of them. Nice little spot with a decent view and a nice walk over to the beach area. The road is semi-busy but at night does quiet down a lot. It’s one of those situations where if you live in a van you probably should be a heavier sleeper anyway. No issues at all and there is even a guy selling some fresh honey next to me during the day. Also a very easy walk into bodega Bay if you want to check out some of the fish shops.

There was some road construction equipment in the spaces as well but it was a weekend so that wasn’t a concern for me. Still plenty of space to park a handful of vans.

I think they haven’t caught up to the lack of signage yet. It’s a nice wide spot, just outside of town. My rig and another; no hassle, although I’ve seen a few police roll by. Seems like a hidden gem!

Lots of cars parked here before sunset, but we were still able to find a spot. 2 other campers spent the night, plenty of room for all. Steady traffic on rt 1 until 9pm and starting up again around 7am but pretty quiet overnight. Beautiful view of the lagoon at sunset, and the trails out to the beach were great in the morning. We felt pretty safe in close proximity to roads and residences, but it still felt private enough. Pretty nice compared to the precarious cliff turnouts on 1!

Report Check-In

I was unable to secure a camping spot so I ended up here on a Saturday night. There was only a 5thwheel and myself, ford transit connect. as described it is noisy due to being right off the road but that all dies down and doesnt pick up again till 7am or so. Had a great sleep, no interruptions. I would definitely stay here again. you're also right next to a great hiling trail.

Right on the road. Full t-mobile service. No AT&T service. Noise level high during traffic. Nice view of wetlands. Close to town. No privacy. Big

As described. 2 other vans stayed here as well. No one bothered us. I left at about 9 but one other van was still there. Was noisy in the morning starting at around 6am. Good for a one night stop.

Great spot after getting asked to leave at other spot in middle of the night. Loud road noise if you don’t have good insulation.
