Grassy, level spot in the manicured gardens of Posada La Casita. Sun and shade, electricity, clean bathrooms and showers, great pool, relaxed German owner Peter (loves to chat) and great Dutch manager Genio. Good food at restaurant (USD 2-5), quiet, fenced, night guard, absolutely safe, no wifi. Helpful and skilled grounds keeper, able to help with minor mechanical issues and good at finding parts (if any available). Free shuttle service into and out of town (Ciudad Bolivar). Paid 3 USD/night for me and my van. Owner Peter has his own travel agency and plane to fly you to Canaima/Angel Fall, too. Maybe not the cheapest option but certainly the most convenient for overlanders. Bumpy access road, but keep going to the end. Loved it, stayed for weeks.
