Description

sure there is a campground at Blair valley with a pit toilet, bit there were also 5 other cars there. As you drive out pictograph road there are many primitive spots to choose from. we kept going 1.3 miles to this spot where we could see no one else. Quiet spot next to a hill with great 4G cell signal. Must bring a metal container for a fire as per all of Anza Borrego park.

Just a lovely valley you drive into, once you come down the road. There are a few dirt roads as you come in. The one to the right of this goes into sand eventually so keep your eyes open. If you follow google maps in, you will drive the perimeter of the valley and see numerous pull off areas for camping. We found ourselves a great spot and are finding it peaceful and quiet - other than the occasional camper passing by. Great spot!

a great place to camp. super quiet, people sometimes driving down the road but you can find a spot anywhere along the road, from the main paved road to the end of the road basically. great service, full 4g or even 5g here. higher elevation than the southern end of the park so it gets a bit cold at night. road to get in is a bit sketchy, but all thr best boondocking spots are always down roads. keeps away most people too! would come back for sure.

An update for 2022. Popular area but easy enough to find a secluded spot. Decent Verizon signal. Coyotes singing at a dusk and a sky full of stars.

Several places to park along the dirt road. cell reception was good with tmobile. very accessible. all the places were used.

This was an easy spot to access with a number of spots near this location if it were to be taken up upon arrival. This did have lots of bees so if allergic BEWARE or bring your EPI! Great star and Milky Way viewing!

Beautiful area. We stayed close to the pictographs. There were a few campers close by us but we were far enough to have privacy. You have some city lights but can still see many stars. Would recommend 4WD on some portions of the roads but we saw many trailers get through with caution. One of our favorite spots and plan to go back soon. Heard coyotes and birds.

arrived after dark on Thanksgiving weekend, and it was fairly busy, but once I got to this coordinate it became sparsed out. wide open view of the valley, easy access.
