Amazing campsite. Especially if you are into kiting, want to learn kiting or just looking for a safe place to stay. Fully recommend kangaroo kite school (read the photograph posts for it).

Stayed here 3 nights, free you can’t beat that. 5 soles for a shower. We filled up our 100l tank for 20soles. Note laundry in town is expensive 8 soles per kilo.

According to our GPS the coordinates are slightly off, about 50m to far. Take the turning before the one indicated, through the fence, the turning directly after Bamboo Hostal, signposted for Kangaroo Kite. No facilities although if you're up early you can use one of the poolside showers of the Kite school. Bathrooms are locked. You can use the small swimming pool at the school if you spend a minimum of S/.50 per person in the bar...making it probably the most expensive swimming pool in South America 🤷‍♂️🤣

Stayed one night. Gates close at 7-8pm and re-open 7am or so. No toilets or facilities so dig a hole.

Nice sunsets over the nature reserve, peaceful and quiet at night.

Nice place to stay, some windprotection in the form of a screen. Plenty of space. Super friendly people at the kite school. Showers 5 soles. Toilets are no longer available for free though, the resort has closed them for guest usage only as they were apparently overused with all the different kite-school staff+students.

A really good place to stay the night. we asked at the kite school and their were extremely friendly and welcoming and let us stay for free at the safe parking lot.

Nice place in front the beach.
Its the parket from the kitesurf school but they dont have a problem you can stay here free.
Safe!!!!
Quiet.
No facilities.
Its close 8 pm at 7 am aprox but you can stay enter. Nice view

Great place to stay a couple of days and go kiting! The the Kangarookite-guys are really nice and helpfull. Warm shower is still 5soles, cold ones and water refill is free. If you are here don't miss to visit the Nationalpark right beside it. Stayed a couple of nights at lagoona grande and loved it!

Muy lindo estacionamiento en la playa. Nosotros habíamos entendido que pertenecía a las escuelas de kite pero en realidad pertenece al hotel bamboo que pone candado desde las 18 hs hasta las 6 AM; nosotros la segunda tarde que paramos ahí habíamos salido con el auto y dejamos nuestra casita rodante estacionada; el guardia de seguridad no nos quiso abrir porque en ese horario nadie puede entrar o salir; así que termine entrando con mis hijos caminando sin que nos viera para poder dormir en la rodante y mi marido se quedó durmiendo en el auto sobre la calle. Es algo a tener en cuenta.

Beautiful spot. We camped here for free for about a week. Water refill and hot showers were both 5 soles. Toilets and wifi are free. Toilets were closed at night and would re-open around 8.30 am.

Great place to stay in Paracas. Quiet and we were alone the all morning. But the hostel won't allow us to use the bathroom, apparently some people leave them dirty ...
It's possible to rent an hobbie cat at the Sheraton hostel for 100 soles an hour.

We stay 3 days here just in front of the beach.
We was 4 trucks and vans here.
Nice place but it's a kitesurf spot....so windy place...!!!!
But the morning there is no wind and you can put your SUP on the water, it was greats moments....alone on the bay at 07.00AM...
No problem for big motorhome...if there is place of course

please bring some dog food if you are sog friendly. there is a beach dog called Steven and he loves to hang out with the overlanders. he is medium size, half brown/half black and a bit shy at the beginning. we totally fell in love with his charming character.

we planned to stay just for the night and ended up staying for 2 weeks: juan & agostina (owners of kangaroo kite) are the nicest people! A bit shower 5 soles, everything else is free (parking, toilets, they even let us fill our water container a couple of times).
places are as good as the people you meet, here are regularly overlanders and the people from other kite schools are just as nice!

Great spot for a few nights exploring Paracas. Bathrooms only open during the day. Tons of other overlanders. Quiet at night with a beach view. Free.

Very nice place to spent a few nights. The water was completely calm. Toilets were closed at night during off-season (October). We did not surf but was great anyways. Good spot to meet other overlanders. Gate closes at 6pm, after that you'll need to convince the night guard to open it for you.

Great free camping spot! Be sure to arrive before 6 PM to catch the surf school crowd before they leave for the night. If you arrive late, be sure to ask at the hotel next to the gate to have the gate opened. Very welcoming, clean bathroom, no showers, small restaurant for food and drinks. Quiet night and peaceful morning. This is the off season, so it did not start to have clients until mid morning. Woke up to pelicans and flamingos on the shore. Awesome people, good spot, highly recommend.

Wonderful kite spot and very very very friendly staff. Have been there almost a week. It is the only serious kite school in place, working with european standards. I took a lesson about self rescue there which was very professional. Also they have a rescue boat in the water. I'd recommend to stay here a while and learn/do Kitesurfing. Nice spot and nicer people. Thank you!!!!! 100/100

Acampamos en nuestro carro sin problema,
gratis, tranquilo y seguro. No hay ninguna facilidad pero es un buen lugar si no hay nada mejor.

Top place, on the sea side, with the kite Scholls on right and a bird reserve on left. The place is top to learn kite, as there is no wave and good wind. We stay there 3 days, very quiet not crowed but you need to be autonomous. You can walk 30 MN to go to the town having good restaurants.

Nice and quiet place. We stayed for free. This parking lot is close from 8pm to 6am but you can stay inside.

Calme et sûr. Le "garde" ferme la barrière de 8h du soir à 6h du matin.
Gratuit. Nous sommes restés une nuit.

Here’s the confusion: Management of Bamboo Lodge sent me away. But if you go next door to the Kite School you’ll end up at the same bar by the beach from the other side, are welcome to park there and can still use the restaurant/bar with toilets open all night.
