Wow! One of the most beautiful camp spots we've been to! You'll be totally alone sourrounded by red-white sandstone hills.
Exit the main road ar the parking, take the small paved road to the right. We tagged the dried river bed which you should follow up between the hills. Go as far as you want (~500m), heaps of amazing spots!!
Not recommended while rain because of mud.
Internet: E signal or nothing.
Enjoy :)

We followed one of the previous descriptions, and turned left of the paved road on a dirttrack when we saw the village. There is amazing possibility for camping, out of sight. Just a few locals on motorbikes came by, but they didn't mind us staying there. We had a beautiful sunset, and you can make a hike in the surroundings. The spot we stayed at is coordinated: 37.1781260, 47.4977800.
Report Check-InCouldn't manage the river crossing with our Ducato 2WD so we stay next to the smaller road. But still a good place and 4G 😉
Report Check-InAmazing place indeed. Drove until we saw the little town then turned left offroad. Camped surrounded by beautiful hills, at 1800 hrs the shepherds and their herds return to town, at 0600 they leave again. Massive dogs came over for a friendly sniff.
Report Check-InWe had a really quiet night in this beautiful mountains. We followed the description and drove along the paved road. About a km before the little town we could go off the road (2wd) on the right and park there. In sight of the road, but still a good place for the night. Did some hiking, saw a snake. Safe, even with a bit of rain.
Report Check-InThe tag is in the riverbed, which is 4x4. Always take care camping in riverbeds because of possible flash floods, the locals came to warn us about that, showing satellite images of rain in the mountains. We stayed 500 m north in the riverbed, which is more easily reached just driving on the asfalt until you can get down in the riverbed again. Beautiful area, but not easy to find good camping spots in a 2wd that are not visible from the road.
Report Check-InComing from Tabriz, you can leave the highway on the small gravel road at the same height as the parking lot on the other lane. On the left there is a underpass for the river that we took (4x4 recommended). We followed the previous description but ended after crossing the river in an acre. So we turned and followed the paved road. After approx. 2 km you find a small dirtroad on the right which took us to an amazing spot. Enjoy!
Report Check-InBeautiful surroundings. We drove until where the red stuff starts (1km?) and the stream splits. Gypsum crystals galore.
When you leave the tarmac road, cross the riverbed, up the opposite bank (might be tricky for big rigs), then follow the track to the left along the river, until it reenters the riverbed and then stay in and drive upstream.
very nice spot! the sandstones are awesome. But be careful the habitants of the next village are afraid of (sheep)thieves. At our second night some men with guns came to defend the village. They also called the police. In the end they were very friendly and invited us to eat and stay with them.
some spots are possible for 2wd.
