Basic campsite with so much potential but looks a little run down. Could be the best stopover if it is upgraded a little bit. I do not like the chalets in front of the camping sites on the river view. Need some tlc at the moment but according to the owner they are busy with a revamp.
Restaurant is not operational but The Hedgehog at the Orange River Wine Cellars tasting room just outside Groblershoop on the main road is very nice stop for something to eat.
Report Check-InIf you want a beautifull place for your tent or car with tent on top, ask for number 13. Looking over Oranje rivier.
Report Check-InPrice was 180 pppn camping. Campsite 1 is definitely suitable and accessible for big rigs.
Report Check-InCamping made easy at this wonderful resort nect to the Orange river with beautiful views. Clean ablution, wifi available, friendly hosts. Restaurant on site. No gravel road to travel to resort, camping sites neat and tidy. Highly recommended,
Report Check-InCampsite and chalets on a shady area. We paid 320 R for 2. Electricity ok on the campsite. Two ablutions blocks. One of them with hot shower. The other one only cold water and no light. No electricity in… The place is very nice.
Report Check-InDid send them beforehand a what’s app to make sure they are open and been asking for rates, which they answered with yes. Was enquiring again the rate for camping fee for one person per night. They didn’t answer
. So I drove past :-))
We got THE campingspot right at the riverside (Oranjeriver). Nice place with a view over the river.
Clean ablution and hot water.
We paid ZAR350 for two adults and two children.
Report Check-InWe had a one night stay. Ablutions were clean and in good working order.
Report Check-InThis place needs some TLC as it appears a bit run down. The nearby River Orange had recently been in flood and had turned the banks into a bit of an eyesore with dried up mud underfoot and debris in the bushes. The ablutions do need an upgrade. There was only a scruffy table and chairs at our stand plus a 220v connection. At R350 per night it's overpriced especially if one must contend with pot smoking locals hanging out in the nearby chalets into the wee hours. That said it's the only place to camp in the vicinity.

Report Check-InPrize increase to 200 rpp for camping .Big trees, nice grass lawn in some area. But, restroom and shower are a bit old.
Report Check-InThis is a great spot right on the river with large camp sites. Supplied is a Braai, electricity, water and they even went off and got us some fire wood👍. R120 per person. There is a bar and restaurant there but we did not use it. It seems like it could be the bar used by the locals but they were very quiet and no bother. Ablution block was quite basic and could do with some TLC, the water was hot though.
Report Check-InCampground and chalets right to the beautiful oranje river.
