You have to register and pay at Sendelingsdrif to visit Richtersveld. It is the only place to get an entrance ticket.

You can pay by card if there is power (currently northern SA is having sheduled power cuts).

The pontoon is max 6 tons, 110 rand if you visit the park, 160 if you’re only using the pontoon to cross the border.

Entry to the park (no wildcard) is 244 per person. Camping is 290 per group per night.

Road was not currogated at the time we visited.

We enjoyed that beautiful park, we just saw 2 other cars when we were there and camping was very private, nice off road park!
The border ferry is operated by san parks, so if you need information you can call them. if you just visit the park 110 one way (even when you have a wild card), expensive for that short distance, if you transit it seems to be more expensive, operating hours from 8.00- 16:00 (probably 16:30)

It's a sandy place near Main Office. incredible price ZAR 316 PPN No Internet, No SA MTN coverage, No Shop, No Restaurant, No privacy on separate sites. NEVER AGAIN.
And it was not a joke on April 1st 🤢

You only can enter the np from here! possible to leave it in the south but no way to get in from there!
The way to get here is a very bad corrugated road...
