Description

Nice campsite. Really kind and friendly owner, Omar. Big and clean bathrooms, great hot shower 24h (gas heated). The camping is full of fruit trees, and the owner allowed us to eat from it. Never ate so much cherry in my life. No sheltered space for tents. ***(There is a row of shelters spaces for tents in front now)***

The owner have a boat for tours to the Marmol Caves, and make special prices for those in the camping.
Access to the Chirifo river.

We loved this camp ground! Came in low season and he was open, wifi was still working and we got hot showers. Omar is an amazing host and we would love to come back here next time we are in Patagonia

Report Check-In

Nice camping place. There are shelters for tents, enough space for big rigs, a cabin to hang out, fireplaces and electricity. Bathrooms and showers good, altough the water was often boiling hot.We did the tour to the marvel caves (32k pp for the tour including one night of camping), which was really nice! the tour takes around 2.5h

Report Check-In

The area is pretty big. There is a shared kitchen building and two toilet buildings. In the first toilet building on the women’s side the toilet doors don’t close and you can see the person sitting there. So for more privacy, use the toilets on the building further. The morning when we were leaving there was no water in the showers. There was nobody around to ask. Price is 6 000 pesos per person.

Report Check-In

Camping is well located. The owner was very friendly and helped us with every problem we had. He let us use his printer and organized for us tours to the marble caves and Laguna San Rafael. At moments there were a lot of people in the camping and they seemed a little bit overwhelmed to keep everything clean but in general they managed to do so. Hot showers at all time. Paid 6‘000clp pp per night (full marmol plus camping for one night 30‘000cpl pp). They washed our clothes and were done the same day (4‘000cpl per kg).

Report Check-In

We love this place and the owner Omar is a gem...4th generation Patagonian with much knowledge to share. Bathrooms were cleaned daily, showers reliably hot and grounds with protection from wind in the back. There are two bathroom buildings with multiple toilets and showers and one common area with tables and sofas. We also did the tour of Mármol with the campsite and got camping for free.

Report Check-In

Decent campsite. Nice host. We took the marble caves tour so the camping is free then (30.000 clp)

Report Check-In

The prices are 7000 PP pesos since February 1, and he doesn't want to do free if we take the tour of the cathedral, after discussion he wanted to, but the wifi does not work and we did not like the campsite, we slept in the main car park, Wifi, Water

Friendly, nice staff. Nice place. Basic facilities. Reasonable price 6,000

Report Check-In

nice campsite with simple infrastructure, clean, hot shower, free if we take the excursion to the Marmol cellars 30000p.p

Report Check-In

Easy to get in and out of with a campervan. Tiny showers. There is a tankless water heater but it was very inconsistent. Owner made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

Report Check-In

we stayed here because of all the positive reviews. but in fact we would skip next time. facilities were worn down. hot water only available on set times and even then it was a disaster. just rinsed with hot water. soaped in and the water turns freezing cold. need to turn off wait some seconds, turn it on and wait dor it to be warm again. then you have warm water for 15 seconds before you can start over the ritual. they clean the bathroom 2 times a day. but since its high season they should clean 6 times. its very crowded and noisy untill late. it really needs an update for these prices. no properly working wifi when we were there. the owner is very kind. arranged tours for us with a little discount. we payed 7000 pp for staying with small campervan.

Report Check-In

Same opinion as review of 9-1-23. Very poor facilities considering the price. We paid 7000 pp (with rooftent), but there was a technical problem with the showers. Which was solved at 9pm. But when taking a shower the warm water was finished after 2 min. Don't know if the problem returned or that this usual.
Owners are friendly but I doubt the special price for trips; 40000 pp for a 2,5h kayak trip does not sound like bargain.
For the second night in this area we'll take another spot.

Report Check-In

Río Chirifo
28.000 for two nights for two people in a truck camper. The toilets and showers here are good. The WiFi here is very good and seems to reach all over the site. It also has laundry available, which is pretty expensive. There are many fruit trees on site, which you can eat from. It’s a pretty popular spot with a lot of people.

Report Check-In

Considering the very positive reviews, we were a bit disappointed by this place. Run-down we don’t mind, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. In particular, the bathrooms and kitchen area received very little attention for the two days we were there. It’s peak season, and this probably reflects the number of people using a limited number of facilities. But if they’re going to increase the prices for summer and take in a heap more customers, we would expect a little more effort going into cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen areas to keep up with the volume. While on the subject of increased prices, we were originally quoted 7,000pp/pn, but when they saw that we had a roof top tent, this increased to 8,000pp/pn. Can’t quite understand why a rooftop tent (as opposed to a car with a tent beside it), draws a higher price. But, not to be totally negative, the location is good, there is some wind protection and the wifi was the best we’ve experienced in Patagonia.

Report Check-In

Camping bem ruim, tudo atirado, ducha quente bem precária, quase não saia água, quase nenhum ponto de água no camping, pagamos 10000 pesos chilenos para 2 pessoas e carro. A noite tinha alguém passando próximo a nosso carro, sem nenhuma segurança

Report Check-In

Nice place with hot shower and fast wifi. The view is wonderful. This place is big and green. You can also enjoy the flower scent. Paid 8000 clp per person, 2 people, including our small campervan.

Report Check-In

We paid 7000 or 8000 CLP/ppn and car with rooftent. There is a shared kitchen but you have to pay 2000CLP for using the stove. So, everybody was cooking there with their own facilities. There is no equipment in the kitchen beside the stove and fridge. It seemed to us as only one campsite in the city suitable for cars/vans.

Report Check-In

Most popular campsite in town, especially for cyclists. Had a wonderful 3 days here. Paid 7000 one person +car. For WiFi camp directly left after reception. I would give it an 8/10.

Report Check-In

Good campside. Owner speaks English and offers boat tours. not many flat places for vans, and this was our first time on the routa 7 that the camping felt a bit busy. Only 1 shower for woman was working. It is really nice that you can walk into town and get a beer and burger.

Report Check-In

Very very nice camping with many places to put your tent , hot hot showers and clean .
The people are really nice , you can also sleep in tiny house h’for 18000 to 29000 ,
Camping Is 6000 . You have a protected comedor to eat and chill !!
Highly recommend and probably the best camping site

Report Check-In

6000 pp. Big camping but still gets full and busy in the summer!! Only 3 toilets&showers per gender. Now has a water shortage, because too much people...
Wifi in common areas. Refugio with frigde and electricity. Other small points of electrity scattered around the grounds. Wifi only works near the common areas.
Lot of fruit trees and chickens around, very friendly owner.

Report Check-In

Excelente ambiente, los chicos son muy buena gente y amables. El camping es barato, y cuenta con instalaciones completas (baños y duchas de agua caliente)

Report Check-In

I stayed 2 nights at this campsite, payed 6.000CLP per night (incl. person, tent, moto). lot of space for cars and trucks, the area for tents is close to the WC. If possible, don't build your tent close to the WC, there is a pump making a really annoying noice, especially during the night it is super annoying.

Report Check-In

Very friendly staff and very relaxed atmosphere. A lot of rocks in the ground so keep that in mind when setting up your tent. Showers are hot, but only on certain hours, due to the noise the pump makes. 6000 CLP per person, very much worth it.

Report Check-In

6000 per person. They let us plug in our camper van into one of the sockets in the comedor. Good Entel reception. Laundry for 5000 per load. Arranged a kayak tour to the Capilla de Marmol for us for 30,000 CLP per person (25 if you’re with 4 or more).

Report Check-In

Good location a little outside the small town. Friendly welcome. Rest room with ground floor. Small showers and relatively clean toilets in ancient barrack. Hot water ok and wifi ok. 5000 pesos p p

Report Check-In

bonito lugar para descansar, nos cobraron 6000 pesos chilenos por persona. ducha caliente, agua potable.

Report Check-In

Just the use of the showers is 2000 clp. Great pressure and hot!!! :)

Report Check-In

Went there only for shower and lavanderia
Hot shower 2000CLP
Lavanderia 5000 for the load which is 20 liters (maybe about 4kg)
Left the rope at 12h, got it back at 17h
We won a tshirt and lost one or two so be careful. Also all the clothes had spots from laundry detergent which will leave next time, but not really pro.

Report Check-In

Simple campsite, where campers and overlanders can stay on serveral spots, which is not all leveled.
General area with picknick tables, couches and wifi. With limited acces to wifi. When to many people use it, it doesnt work.

Abolution blocks, simple but clean and very warm water.

Staff is very friendly and speaks Ingles.

We payed 7000 pp.

Report Check-In

Great place on the outskirt of the town but still <5 minutes to the beach. Big common room with WiFi, plenty of spots for us to choose in our camper van. 6000 CHP. Very friendly staff, speaks English. Clean bathrooms and showers.

Report Check-In

Super spacious and clean. I'm very happy that I stayed here. the owner, Oman and the staff, Freddy and Sebastian are kind and made me feel home. Very clean baño and super good shower. Well sheltered place to cook and use wifi. Highly recommended!

Report Check-In

The campsite is nice and the toilets are very clean (3 showers for men, 3 for women and the same for toilets). The sites are on grass and there are also several trees if you want to have some shade. There is also a large room with tables, chairs and 2 sofas. It is essential to have equipment to cook because there is no kitchen, only a sink. The owner is very friendly !

Report Check-In

Nice campground, safe neighbourhood. kitchenarea can get cold, but there is a oven to warm up. Owner is really nice.
Internet breaks down a lot if a view people are using it.
we had problems with the water while we were there so we paid 4000 per night per person!

Report Check-In

Great camping! The owners do everything to make you comfortable. Good wifi, great showers and bathrooms, awesome hut to spend the evening protected from rain and wind, great view. Because they had a problem with the electricity we only paid 4000 clp pp. Absolutely recommendable.

Report Check-In

Currently 4,000pp. Communal room with tables and a nice view, bathroom was clean, no tp, hot shower and WiFi when generator is on. WiFi is good if there aren’t too many people connected. Location is also good, just a few blocks away from everything. Many many tent and van spots! And the owner and guy that runs it are super nice!

Report Check-In

Very happy to have found this friendly place with a great view of the lake. The owner and the manager (a cyclist from Columbia) are both lovely and very helpful. There is a great shed/cooking/eating place with windows into the lake and a couch. The wifi is very good too. Very hot showers. Lovely garden.

Report Check-In

There was nobody but we texted the number of we could stay and we could. Later he came by to turn on the generator so we could take a warm shower.

Report Check-In

Very friendly staff and owner. Good common area with tables, couches and a wood stove. Showers were really good.

Report Check-In

excelente lugar, amplio,cómodo, seguro, limpio, con un buen refugio, buena instalacion de baños y agua caliente...excelente atención.

Report Check-In

still a very nice campsite with friendly owner Omar, 5000 pesos PP - with 20% discount if you choose to take the marbel cave tour with the owner's boat.
super slow Wifi (if you'll be able to connect it 😅)
average wind protection for rooftop tents.

Report Check-In

Ok campsite, quite rustic near the river. Friendly owner and dog. Good hot water. On the negative side, we.were bothered by some very agressive biting horse flies which made relaxing outside impossible during the day.. Also returned from a days tour to find three tents sharing our allotted space despite the site being almost empty. Could hardly access the ladder of our tent without tripping over a tent which seemed pretty inconsiderate. WiFi but it's slow (from a 3G shared router). Charged 5000 pesos pp per night
