We arrived after sunset. The staff was welcoming. Had a very quiet night. They allowed us to use the bathroom from a hut.

Price still 100 Pula pp. Pretty basic campsite. Nothing special.
Ablution very basic and run down. E.g. lid of the toilette is missing.
For electricity they connect you cable with one of the small houses.
You camp on a grassy meadow (a bit uneven).
Wifi gives the friendly manager / works at reception.

Name change to “Bush Ride Kgogomodumo Lodge and Cultural Village Kanye” very recently (not changed on internet yet)
Very pleasant staff at reception - a well-dressed gentleman and happy smiling lady.
BUT when I went to pay, they tried to charge me 200 pula per person, so I mentioned the last rates I saw were 80 to 100 pp, so they said okay you can pay 100 pula pp but when we have renovated, the price will go up.
The campsite had no sign-posts so difficult to find, no braai spots (“you can braai anywhere on the ground”) and there was one shower, loo and basin for ladies and the same for men.
There were only 2 places you could tap into electricity, but a generator running all night long.
Shower being “renovated” but dark and dingy and very small with dark cement floor. Nowhere to hang or put down clothing. No shower door. Would honestly go out of our way to NOT go there again.

We arrived very late in the dark, receptionist was very friendly and courteous. This is a lovely place as a stop over. We camped for one night @ P100 pppn. Each Ablution male & female have 2 showers and 2 toilets lovely hot water and clean. There are basins for cleaning dishes or doing washing as well, they are busy fixing small maintenance issues. Campsite is big enough for entry by overlander trucks. Shady trees. They also have tented and chalet accommodation. A swimming pool, bar and restaurant, but it might be closed. Not much noise from the road and is a secure place to stay.

The place has been cleaned up, but toilets still not very clean. Price went up to BwP100 ‘because there were a lot of tourists visiting the place’. 😀

Quite location, wifi is fine and cheap, 80 pula pn pp. Staff is very friendly.

Swimmingpool is dirty, grass is full with glass, plastic bottles, toilet paper etc. Abelutions arent clean and not working properly.

Friendly staff. Stayed here when there was a wedding going on, but staff gave us a quiet place. Simple, a little old ablutions, but it was working fine.
I would recommend this just for one stopover night.

Stayed here 2 nights. Managed typically like a community camp side. Staff very friendly. Showers were cold but we got a room key despite we were camping for a hot shower. Seems to be heavily used for functions we witnessed one lunch function and a huge build up for an evening function that was also the reason we were asked to move to the back of the property. Water pressure is low and power plugs are not working but staff brought us a loong extension cable to get electricity. Paid 160 Pula for 2 and the truck per night. Good for a stopover.

Free WiFi, pool. Secure place.
