Something not right?
Description
Small appearance from outside. Average rooms and bathroom facilities. No parking. I parked my bike on the footpath in front of the hostal. Paid s20 for a room with tv that didn't have signal. No wifi although the woman said something about a neighbour's wifi but I couldn't get the signal on my iphone. The lady said there was hot water but I couldn’t get the thing going. (It works)

there are several hostels I'm this village but they are all occupied by Mining workers , so finding an accomodation is still hard.
I was able to find an room in this hostel only, very basic room with old mattress for 25 soles..the owner is nice but the room is not that great...use it as last option.
Report Check-Ina man helped me to find the owners of the hostals. he first tried another, hostal carmen but could not find rosi. there was however an italian cyclist. the man also helped him. i first tried myself hostal santa rosa but she said she did not have rooms.
hostal mari's is basic but fine. the bed was ok. there are two electric showers that i asked them to explain to me, but i did not use it in the end. the lock of the door of the room did not really work, but my partner, who stayed there the next night, managed to repair it. maria was friendly but i did not appreciate her standing in my room early morning to ask if i was going to travel today and if al is ok.
Although there are quite some hostals, I counted at least 5, they are not necessarily open and the help of the man is really needed to find the owners. I ate at santa rosa which was fine. if you are on a bicycle, take enough food and drink as there is none until shortly before Caraz.

The other places was full (Easter) so someone told us to check out this place. Maria’s Hostel. Got a good room on top of the house and it was good enough for a night or two. Electric shower but not super warm. Nice owner and parking away in a blind street under the room. I see some WiFi but think it’s from other houses.
