Description

There is a private park in Puerto Aventuras. It is easy to get in, just say you are going to the dolfinarium. You can park everywhere, the security guards told us it was ok to sleep in the camper.

There are dolphins and manatees swimming here, you can view them without charge. Some really nice restaurants as well. If you want you can pay and swim with the dolphins, but we didn’t do this.

Really nice place to spend a day or two.

This place is amazing! The info previously listed is still correct. We drove in at 9pm and let the security guard know we were going to eat dinner at The Pub (which is open late). The guard asked us if we were planning on leaving after we ate and we told him yes but stayed the night without issue. One thing I learned, there is no river where dolphins live. It is a mini SeaWorld situation. Small pens housing dolphins in the middle of a shopping & dining center. Would certainly stay again.

We had a blast camping here. We pulled in on a Friday and there was a huge backup to get in the entry gate. They wanted to see a reservation to swim with the dolphins, but let us in when we said we wanted to eat. After struggling to find parking in the hubbub, we ate yummy (and expensive) fish and chips at Hippo Marina. With that, we walked over to the tennis court. We talked to the people at the club office and they said no one should bother us overnight. So we found a spot and moved the Jeep over. We didn’t open our tent until the evening. Instead, we got a day pass at the hotel and had a wonderful afternoon in the pool and ocean. The day pass cost $600 pesos/per adult BUT $500 pesos of that is a credit to spend on-site. So that credit bought our dinner (which was good) and only $100/person was for the pools, bathroom, shower, and beach access. There are bathrooms just off the dolphin loop that were open early in the morning—I’m guessing they’re open all night and they aren’t far from the tennis court parking. Feel free to reach out on social if you have questions.

There is a Parking just at the front of the Tennis Court. Very quiet. Spent de night here. No charge for us. Had a beer just at the front of the dolphin area.

Great spot in a private gated community just tell the guard you want to sea the dolphinarium. Some nice restaurants. Slightly expensive. 150-500 pesos for a meal. We found a parking lot here to stay. Walk towards the yachts the dolphins nearest the boats love to play throwing seaweed at you and waiting for you to throw it back. Saw a cool eagle ray in marina aswell!

Nice place good beach. You can just park for free on the parking place. We told the guard were visiting the beach club, they just scan your id and your able to move on! Great place

If you are a dolphin lover you should definitely camp at this spot. Tell the entrance guy that you are coming to a restaurant and park next to the river. You will see dolphins for free and you might even get to play with them! Throw them some seaweeed and wait for their reaction-they will throw it back! There is a nice hotel with a clean beach and a pool Aton the area. Really fun camping spot!
