Very quiet and clean. GPS a little wack-a-doodle getting out here. There is another site just before this one. It also has a fire ring and was clean. 1 bar T-Mobile service.

Awesome disperses spot in HNF. Right off the gravel road, but during our 2 night stay we saw less than 5 cars. Attached to hickory ridge trail. It was cold so we didn’t venture too far. Fire ring on site. We were both able to work with our cell booster. Would have been questionable otherwise.

We loved this spot! There was a lot of space for our 19ft camper van. There was a nice sized fire ring and small trailhead from the site. It’s near the road but there was reasonable tree coverage and traffic was minimal, so it was very peaceful. Easy drive to Bloomington and Lake Monroe.

Tip: Purchase fire supplies at The Fishin Shedd - they had everything in stock that was needed. 🔥

Lovely national forest. There were a bunch of cars that drove down the road I camped off during the night and the next morning. Also some folks in horseback so it wasn’t super quiet but still very pleasant.
