Lovely sites about 100 yards from the CE. No swimming at this time due to pollution or algae. Railroad and highway close by but not too noisy when it’s cold and you have your windows closed.

Beautiful sites about 100 yards from the shore. Highway and RR are close bug nog too noisy in cool weather. Pit toilets and shower (cold?) too

Probably one of the cleanest campgrounds I've ever been to. Top notch bathrooms, trash bins, and fire rings. Great view of the lake with lots of space for RVs and trailers. Plenty of cell phone coverage from Verizon.

I couldn't get hot water for the showers and yes, you will hear the train but all that was okay by me. $7 to camp here for the night.

It is very close to the lake, the lake and mountains are beautiful, the sunset is like a dream sprinkled on the lake, the breeze is bustling, quiet and beautiful

Great spot, clean pit toilets, cell service, cold shower, drinking water. Don’t really need anything else! The trains definitely don’t stop running tho. It’s less frequent I think, but just FYI there’s no “quite time” for trains/traffic.

Love the spot, easy to find, level is good. Clean & Still $10 per night.

Looks like a good spot to camp stopped in for lunch and there are a lot of flies but if you can stand that, it looks like a great place to stop for the night and enjoy my day

simple camping ground with amazing views of salton sea. we love nearby, and came to spend the day here.

Flies! Showers! Flies in the showers! But, still, a nice place. The sun is going down - camp host says the flies will follow in about an hour.

Here 12/25/18; good place-We spent one night here and it was perfect, we could easily have stayed a few more. You can hear the trains but it was not an issue for us. Campsite is as previously mentioned.

The site is very easy to find. We came in at night with rain no problems. Pavement leads right to the site.

We stayed on 12/05/18 it was quite only a couple other people.

Yes there is a highway close and a train track. They did not bother us at all. Like the other people have said all the trucks and trains seem to stop at or before 10PM. But be aware if that is an issue for you.

This is pretty basic camping but we enjoy it. You are right beside the Salton Sea with mountains in the background. There are clean toilets and a shower area. The spots are flat and the scenery is good.

rating 3.5 and would stay again.

We are here in July. Maybe not the best spot for this time of the year. Very hot, no shade, a lot of flys really a lot!

Campground is pretty nice. Still 10$. Showers hot & cold (this time of the year just hot 🙈), tables, firerings.

Report Check-In

A bit noisy because of the trains and the street. Nice view over the lake. The shower is pretty good and free!
We had a fly invasion which was really bad.

We enjoyed staying here after 3 nights free camping near joshua tree national park because it was much warmer at lower elevation and they had new facilities with showers. only $10/night but still not sure if that's per vehicle or per person. great sunset views of the lake, camping right on the beach.

Tent camped here 2 days. Weather was nice and this was a great place. A little wind but quieter at night. Several nice people staying here as well. $8 with senior pass. $10 regular.
