Quiet clean hostel for 300sdp ($3 blackmarket) for two people. Call Ahmed Mousa at 0912 585 462 (he was at the museum when we called). We had the whole place for ourselves. Parking only on the quiet street in front of the house.

We showed up to learn that the guesthouse is being occupied long-term by an archaeologist. However, someone in the family was able to take us to another room around the corner. Two beds, ceiling fan, cold shower. Could be cleaner, but still seems better than what I’ve seen in other hotels in the area. They wanted 20,000SDP a person for 2 nights; we bartered down to 12,500 a person for 2 nights.
Report Check-Invery good place to stay a few days. very comfortable inside court. bathroom could be cleaner, but it's okay. We had the night for 6000sdp (for a double room) after negotiations (but Ahmed Mousa wasn't hard to convince !). For the moment, it is the same price at al-Nasr hotel, but way more comfortable here.
Report Check-Ingreat place to stay. clean toilet and okay shower room. 300sdp per night, 20 mins walk to market but in a nice neighborhood with funny kids. close to the hill which is an awesome place to watch the sunset.
