TalTal is a great sleepy town with a nice cabana offering at the north end off Ruta 1 but they were full so we pushed on up the coast. Lots of great wild beach camping here. Level spots and places for tents. Crashing waves on rocks, even some swimming holes I you don't mind crabs. No road noise b/c of surf. Lovely and peaceful and cool in summer.

Fantastic place!
We met here two fischerman recollecting seaweed and after chatting a while, they show us how to get sea urchins and shells. One basket in 5 minutes, yummie!!
It must be also plenty of octopuss around. But this time the sea was brave and we decided to buy it in the town.
As others write... Quiet place, nobody at the tent house, possible to find good shelter from the wind, and amazing red sunset :)
Report Check-InFound a nice quiet level spot on the south side of a small cove just north of the original coordinates. Follow the track to the right once you get off the road. Not too much rubbish and a nice view out over the sea for the sunset. Our very first wild camping - great start!
Report Check-InNice spot despite a bit of trash. There is a tent house there but seems that nobody lives there. Small dog come at night, was friendly and didnt bark, didnt want to go away neighter, didnt look healthy so we didnt let our dog to play with him. The night was calm, beautiful colors at sunset.
Report Check-InWe chose a spot a little north of these coordinates on a high spot. Beautiful rock garden setting, level and quiet. Very clean where we camped, but there is plaenty of trash at each trail end. Look for the big, scary, creepy ghost rock.
