Argentina
Update: Was told no parking inside (even though I would fit). Offered to park on street and pay 450arg pppn to use bathroom/shower. USER REPORTS:" Comment: Parking a 2x4 inside is only possible when it has not rained as the path becomes very muddy. It is really a campsite for tents only. The main gate is only open from 10am, pedestrians can leave any time. The shelter is now open from 10am to 10pm, very inconvenient for people who have their cooking utensils in there. But perhaps I am the only one who wants to start the day relatively early. " It is a new campsite and so far has only one shower and toilette. But it is in a lovely place , about 4 km outside Ushuaia, you camp on grass, it is not suitable for camping cars. There is a shelter with table, chairs, sofa, kettle. The couple who run it could not be nicer. I was welcomed with a cup of tea and taken into town for shopping. They offer lunch or dinner for 150 pesos. Camping is 200, rather expensive, but then it is Ushuaia. Laundry service is offered.

We stayed at this place with our tent for 3 nights. 2000 p.P/night. Its a nice, small campsite with a kitchen / common-room, but not really even places. Simple toilets and showers. The owner-family ist very friendly.
Report Check-Inno parking inside, but you may use toilet and shower inside the fenced area. price is now up to 450 arg pppn unless staying longer, like a week. I moved on.
Report Check-Inwas recommended by the tourist office as the only formal campground near town. It exist yet nobody was there to let us in
Report Check-InI add to my last entry: delicious food and a lovely walk along a river and small waterfall through the forest-directly from the campsite. Huts are being built.
