End of the high season, but still a lot of tourists in town. Some weekend noise (music, generators) on this spot. But nice beach, good for swimming. Free cold showers on the boulevard, pay for baños and also cold showers inside the toilet building.

We spent a quiet night here - a few cars arrived and left during the night, no issues though. Police cars drove past in the morning. It’s a clean, calm spot, with a couple of kiosks along the boardwalk that seem to be closed in spring.

Many many places to park next to the concrete. Lots of benches and shaded areas. Still free showers at the beach (cold). And the toilet was only open once during our 2 nights stay here. But they were super clean for 300 pesos.

This seems to be a popular place for overlanders. We stopped here for a night and saw several camper vans parked overnight as well. No one seemed to mind our tent. We set up on the concrete, between our car and one of the benches, which gave us a little bit of privacy and wind protection. On a Friday in late November, the bathrooms were all locked. Not sure if they’re only available on weekends or during high season. We walked into town to find a bathroom in a restaurant. The whole area is very well-lit - great for safety, not great if you need a dark place to pee in the middle of the night. It was a little noisy with locals playing soccer until late at night, but we didn’t mind too much.

Great place to stay, close by the nice holiday village and beautiful beach. The promenade they made is beautiful, with playgrounds and sports. Toilets and showers available, but you have to pay. Cold shower outside is for free. Many overlanders here, we felt safe.
