we came her late in the afternoon arround 5pm we ask if we can park for the night. after a phonecall and talking about our truck they said 10 dollar per person. we are with 4 so $40, kids age 5 and 7 same price. we left.

100 m further on there is another one, much nicer in my opinion. they first asked $100 then I said $10 she immediately dropped to $50 we left. crazy prices Since the time was right, we found a spot along the road not far from there. Not ideal, but ideal enough for the border crossing tomorrow

Tried to stay for the night. Manager said 20 USD per night and argued entrance fee for today and tomorrow. Fee is 2 USD per day and person, would have added up to 8 USD for two days. Offered 10 USD he declined and we left

60 Cordobas pp. With pools, shower, no Internet. Good place

Quiet place, probably busy during weekends, warm swimming pools, loud music , but quiet the night, 50 pp entry and breakfast for 50 pp. no shower. Good paved road to get to from esteli. Good place to wait to cross the border.

Warm water swimming pools. Palapas. Restaurant. Paid 50c per person to swim and stay the night. Expected to buy a meal. We bought breakfast for 60c per person. Friendly people. Quiet night once the music went off.
