Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

we arrived by the end of the day almost at night. we paid 200 pesos per person although the person gave us only one ticket instead of three. The person also charged us 200 pesos for the car, although I think that should not have arrived. place is a bit strange, I wouldn't recommend for families despite the fact some village children come take a bath in the pool. there is a river crossing to arrive there that depending on the rain in the mountains may affect your plans. for us it was okay.

Report Check-In

This place is very cheap (200pp) but still in my opinion not worth it if you want to relax, maybe worth it just to bathe. There is only baths for two people in winter, not the pools, and water is not hot. We've been to lots of thermal pools, the water here is definitely not 36C, maybe 32, but it cools down to lukewarm very quickly. You only get 20 min in the bath before you have to get out. We arrived when the baths were empty but still had to wait 40 minutes for them to prep them.  The actual baths are roomy for two people and nicely tiled, unfortunately they're inside a building with a very moldy, peeling ceiling and they make you get in and start your 20 minutes when the water is only 20cm high (it gradually fills up more). Would definitely avoid this place, at least in winter. Might be good when warmer and outside pools are filled.
Also while some staff were lovely, some were really rude. One tried to give our spot away and make us wait another 20-30 minutes because another couple that arrived way later gave the lady collecting the money their money a minute before we gave her ours and so they 'were first'. They at no time asked us to pay before this, and had told us already to sit and wait for them to prepare our bath. They were loudly telling the other couple they could go first and the couple was confused and pointing out we were first. We had to argue with staff to get our spot and the staff told us we had to ask the other couple for permission to get out spot back. Really not fun for a non-confrontational person.

If you really need a shower or bath 200pp is not bad, but it a long wait to use it and the water in not hot and the staff may mess with you so I wouldn't recommend.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot! Surrounded by rocks and there is a great structure all around (tables, parrila, even swimming pool etc). There is electricity if you need.
Hot bath of 36 degrees C. Really nice!! Highly recommended.
We paid 200 pesos for staying the night and 200 pesos each for the bath, which takes like 25 min max.

Report Check-In

A perfect place to camp and take a bath. Super cheap, 200 pesos per bath and 200 for camping. Very clean. A wonder. There is water, bathrooms and showers. And tables with barbecues.

Report Check-In

There is a small swimmingpool with cold water and 3 bathrooms were you can take a private bath for 2 with warm water. Showers only cold and toilets did not flush. We camped here and got electricity. Payed 600 pesos all in. Beautiful surrounding.

Report Check-In

Recomendamos! @esticaedalee

Report Check-In

We couldn't cross the river because of rain. The place before (here on IO) is very nice with a great view.

Report Check-In

Still the same. Prices did not change, payed 200 for the night per tent/car. Nice and calm at night.

Report Check-In

As Described. the thermal baths are nice at 200 pp. locals with some music until around 9pm and then quiet.

Report Check-In

There’s a lot of construction going on. This could become one of the nicest places along this stretch of Ruta 40. The use of one of the three hot tubs costs $200 p.p. but prices may go up. I charged my phone on the one working socket at the bath house and paid some extra.

New toilet block with free hot showers. The large pool filled up overnight while I stayed there. Easy access thanks to the new asphalt road which starts 200 m after the (empty) riverbed crossing. Small kiosco in the hamlet, so stock up in Hualfin itself (ATM, small grocery, YPF-gas station).

Report Check-In

Fine place to camp, but not a real “established” campground. It just has enough space to camp. We came here with our Toyota landcruiser with rooftop tent. Had to cross the river, but there was almost no water in it. These thermal baths are like a little bathhouse. They have three little bathrooms with baths which they fill up with water (36 degrees). You pay 200 pesos per person, we also had to pay 200 pesos for camping in front of these baths. It was neat. You also can climb up a little steep hill with a cable.

Report Check-In

The hot springs are fine, they charged us 200 pesos per person. Sleeping is free and the use of barbecues too.

Report Check-In

Construction going on. Seems they want to grow the site a lot (too much). Site is not very nice currently, outdoor pools are open only in summer, inside bath are awesome with water at very good temp 36deg. If you are lucky and there is nobody waiting for you, you can stay longer. I stayed more than 1 hour. 200 pesos pp, camping free.

Report Check-In

Here are two pools with water of 36 degrees. You pay 200 pesos and you can take a bath (or two, or .....) and also camp with your tent or motorhome. Isn't that great!?
Few other tourists, very quiet at night.

Report Check-In

friendly.
paid 800 pesos for two nights, thermal baths ok.
beautiful place, we ve seen two condors.
good empanadas from the owner ask for them!

Report Check-In

Wow what a great place! No need for 4x4 to get here. Some low hanging electricity lines at the enterance, so I used a pole to hold them high while my husband drove the truck under it.
Pools were empty, but you can make a reservation to take a bath in warm water for 200 pesos pp for 25 minutes. Bath big enough for 2 people. Allowed to use soap and wash your hair.
Next morning we took little walk in the canyon and saw a lot of parrots. Great empanadas at the entrance.

Report Check-In

The termas are now opened again.
You can get a clean bath for 200p/pp and you can camp there for free. Honestly pretty cool. The road to get there offers beautiful scenery. Bikes, motorcycle it's easy. There is a river to cross and a bridge but it's only for bikes or motorcycles. Cars, only go if you have 4x4, we met people that didn't and got stuck in the sandy river...

Report Check-In

the termas are closed at moment, we don't now it close for pandemia. locals tell us ,something is broken, this way its close. we can't go inside for looking only watch from the gate

Report Check-In

Very nice, clean and beautiful termas. We stayed here for one night. It was a bit noisy because a group of people came to party (Friday night)

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Beautiful setting but still a building site!

Report Check-In

We came with low expectations, but we liked it here. Still, toilets are in bad shape, but most of the construction seems to be finished. There are three new big bath tubs in individual chambers. The water is crystal clear and has 36 degrees. After coming down after two weeks of bushcamping in the Puna, it was pure bliss. Strangely, there are no showers. There is also a small open concrete pool with lukewarm water. Nothing special, but the kids liked it. Prices are still next to nothing (20 p for camping, 15 for using the hot tubs). Nice place to camp under towering red rocks in a green valley.
A new pool and more buildings are still under construction.
I guess if you have just been to Fiambala, it is maybe not worth it, but for us it was nice. We were here on a Friday and almost alone.

Report Check-In

nice place with a nice view, hot showers. some people camr during the night to bath, but they were quiet.

Report Check-In

this place was very dissapointing for us. The hole place is under construction and everywhere is buildingmaterial laying around.
There are only bathrooms, no pools! The had only two old „bathrooms“ open and they are very unattractive. The newer ones are closed. We had no bath in there and left the place.

Report Check-In

confirm what has been described earlier. nice walks around even if there are too many trashesaround this spots. saw locals at night and early morning. toilets not working. quiet and protected fro the wind.

Report Check-In

We had a great night's stay here. A friendly woman who maintains the termas charged 20 pesos per car for the night and 10 pesos per person for the baths. They were warm for a shower. There were a few people who came late night, but we were having a campfire so it wasn't a big worry. Filled up our water and able to use the toilets as well. Nice grounds with a fair price.

Report Check-In

This is a very disappointing place in a beautiful setting. They tried to make it nice but just spoiled the valley. The place was obviously started with high ambitions but stopped half way. The remains are a couple of unfinished buildings and wrotten toilets. The finished buildings are pure concrete. The hot water you can only experience in concrete bathtubs in small and dark huts. There are no open pools. So it is nothing to compare with the thermal pools of Fiambala.
Staying overnight was ok, it was very quite but nothing more than that.

Report Check-In

Secluded location: less dust during mild sandstorm. Friendly lady. 20 pesos for camping, 10 pp for bath.

Report Check-In

We enjoyed visiting the termas. We didn't camp there (opting to camp at the municipal camping at the bottom of the hill).

Report Check-In

This place is in wrong location - it is located at -27.21344, -66.86572

Report Check-In

it is 3km west of route 40 - the other entry for it is correct.

Report Check-In

In renovation but you can use it. Toilets working and 2 individual rooms with thermal hot showers (or bath if you wait 1hour that bassin fills). 10peso/person. Parking 20peso, very quiet night. Open and guarded 24hours.

Report Check-In

Definitely not closed. The thermal shower was awesome. Showers cost 10 pesos per person. We showered and had lunch here but did not stay the night.

Report Check-In

Attention, this GPS Waypoints is not exact! Will add a new one

Report Check-In

This entry has the correct GPS Data. The therme seems to be closed completely. Toilets have no water - but you can get a hot shower. Two "Rooms" with showers are available. Till midnight locals came too to this place, after that it is very quiet.

Report Check-In

termas were closed and there was noone to charge for the camping. hot water coming out of the rocks are perfect for taking a shower. people from the neighbourhood came at night to take a shower as well. quiet in the night. nice view. we couldn't use the toilets because they were very dirty.
