Latest Check-Ins

A cop knocked on our door around 1 am and made us leave saying there was a “city ordinance.” There are still no signs posted saying no overnight parking or park hours, but apparently overnight parking is not allowed.

Report Check-In

Quiet night here, we were the only one. A car came by around 10pm but left immediately. Maybe the police, we didn't see it.

Report Check-In

Had a very quiet night's sleep in this enormous gravel parking lot by a pond and hiking trailhead. a policeman rolled through just after 2 AM but did not wake us up with a knock. A perfect place to stop for a night!

Report Check-In

Great stay, no issues. Nice pond and lots of deer.

Report Check-In

Great place for the daytime, NO to overnighting. We met two park rangers during the afternoon and asked if we could stay overnight. They said they had no problems with it, and confirmed with us that there was no sign saying ‘no.’ Cop came at 2:00am and told us the park was closed after sunset. We told him about the rangers, and that there was no sign. He said he was just enforcing orders from him supervisor, and hesitantly said we could stay if we needed to. We moved on.

Beautiful spot. Incredible firefly display and frogs croaking in the pond all night. A police officer knocked on the van around 1am saying the park closed at dusk and there was a sign saying so. He let us stay the night anyway. I confirmed in the morning that there is no such sign.

Nice, free spot to stay for the night. Some good little hikes and bouldering. We stayed two nights in a row. Cars do like to pull in at night for awhile and then leave it seemed. Friday and Saturday morning were super busy for people, probably 30 cars pulled in starting around 7:30 am. Must be the time to hike or something (even though it poured rain all night). Idk it’s New Jersey.

Report Check-In

Came in late (2am), parked, and got a few hours sleep. Woke up around 6am, with one other car in the lot. Large gravel lot, three Porta Potties, and trash cans. I didn't notice any signs prohibiting overnight parking. Right off a quiet country/suburban road, so overnight headlights and road noise was negligible. Great spot.

Report Check-In

good spot for the night, not many mosquitos surprisingly. Very quiet at night and few cars arrived in the morning with people going on hikes. 2 guys came to cut the grass whilst we had breakfast here and waved hi back so seemed OK to be here.
