Arrived around 9:30pm. It's very dark, so we were initially unsure if we were at an actual camp area or not, but then we saw the bathrooms and figured out that we had it right. There's no one else here, and the spaciousness is a little ominous in the silence of the surrounding forest, but it's really nice and well maintained from what we can make out in the dark. The bathrooms were clean and neat, well stocked with TP. No lights, but that's as to be expected. A phone flashlight worked well to illuminate because the inside of the bathrooms are painted white.

Most of the camp area is a grassy field with cut trees. The gravel road leading in loops around a big tree left standing in the center. There's a flat area with two picnic tables and a camp stove fire pit. There were small twigs suitable for kindling all around in the surrounding gravel, and plenty of larger sticks and fallen branches just beyond the tree line, not even 500 ft from the picnic tables. So far so good. 👍

Overnighted here on our way through Virginia. 6:30PM in, 9:00AM out. One other guy car camping who kept to himself. Beautiful place, well maintained. Toilets were pretty clean for pit toilets. Fireflies put on a show and three deer came through and hung out for a bit. Three cars came and went even though there were 3 empty sites, but we spoke to a guy on the way in who said there were several other places to camp in the area. We didn’t go looking for them though cause this one was perfect.
