Latest Check-Ins

The sign clearly states no overnight parking and that vehicles will be towed. Park closes at dusk. It's a small sign, but we moved on.

Report Check-In

Very quiet, police came in around 6 but did not say anything, just circled around and left.

Report Check-In

Quiet parking lot with some people pulling up and leaving throughout the night. We stayed here in an SUV but there is plenty room for a van or even an RV. Park ranger checking up on us knocked at 6 am. Nice guy but he said they don’t allow overnight stays. he also said he was not kicking us out.

Report Check-In

I drove in at night and the road to it feels remote. But then all of a sudden I pulled up to the parking lot and it was spacious. I stayed 3 nights. Super quiet and peaceful, even on the weekend. I saw a golf cart police unit driving around but they never paid me no mind. Plus there are awesome walking trails. I recommend this place!

Report Check-In

Big parking lot at boat ramp with well lit walking trails. Spent a quiet night with no issues.

Report Check-In

As described - large, mostly empty lot, well-lit.

Just us and one other van the night we were there.

Relatively convenient if you want a place to stay that's a short drive to Conagree National Park, since there's no options for anything other than tent camping at the NP.

Report Check-In

Location is exactly as described. Very large parking lot with a boat ramp and a public park. There is also a dumpster on site. Several miles of walking and bicycling trails surround this area.

We had a peaceful night with no activity at the boat launch or in the parking lot. There was a sheriff here first thing this morning speaking with someone else but nobody approached us or questioned us being here overnight.

Report Check-In

Nice big open parking lot. We parked in the corner without an issue. There were some cars in and out but early in the night and a few trucks with boat trailers stayed the night also We got here at eight at night and left about eight in the morning. Also, there is a very nice path next to the river for a morning stroll :)

Report Check-In

Large parking lot by the river. Gets a surprising amount of visitors but no one bothered me. Rangers came several time in the day. After parking all day they came and knocked but only to see if I was okay. Very nice! Some noise, either construction or a factory across the woods?

Report Check-In

Stayed here overnight with no issues. Quiet and was able to walk on the river trail.

Report Check-In

When we arrived and parked there was 1 SUV in the lot. Seeing as it was late and raining heavily this was suspicious. The SUV then left and I believe the same one returned twice (had a headlight out so it was easy to identify) and drive right up close to our rig and then left immediately. This seemed really weird so we just decided to find a local Walmart.

From other people's descriptions I would guess that this could be a shady spot for people to meet up at night. Won't be going back.

Report Check-In

Very quiet and lots of room to park. Right next to a wastewater treatment plant so there's a faint smell in the air when driving in, but we didn't smell anything once we were parked. Woke up to two cops parked near us who left right when we started up our van to leave. They didn't say anything but it made us nervous.

Report Check-In

Very large lighted parking lot at the end of a quiet road in a heritage preserve on the river. No amenities, watch out for poison ivy if you go pee in the woods. We were the only ones here overnight, all the boaters left by about 9pm. You hear some distant highway traffic but overall this was a fantastically quiet and peaceful place to stay. Didn’t get bothered at all. Woke up to three other vehicles in the parking lot but I honestly never heard them even pull up.

Camped in our 24ft skoolie.
