Description

Small RV park just outside of Marfa. It is a basic park with showers, bathrooms and laundry. It is located between the railroad tracks and highway so it is a bit noisy. There are 16 sites, plus a small dry camping/tent area.

Prices as of Jan 2020 were:

$32 full hook up
$27 Electricity and water (two 30' sites)
Dry camping/tents: $15 for one person or $25 for two. (This area can accommodate a van or truck camper but not anything large.)

You can make reservations in advance (up to the day before you plan to stay) on their website. They don't take same day reservations and all open sites are first come.

The manager is very nice and all of the small sites were taken when we arrived but he gave us one of the larger pull through sites for the same price.

This place is perfect if you’re not looking for fancy. We loved using the outdoor kitchen area during our stay. The bathrooms are clean, showers are hot. It’s close enough to walk to town if you’d like. If you are looking for good beer stop in at Cactus Liquors, the best place for alcohol in the area. FHU sites are cheap and the grounds are clean. Check in is easy, the office is a cute little trailer when you pull in.

Great place. $27 for my van with hookups. HIT showers and heated bathroom.
check out is noon. Wifi was okay.. Nice place!

I liked this place. No pretension about it. Shower had good water pressure. $35 for large pull through spot and then an extra $5 for an extra person or extra car. But there wasn’t really a whole lot of “enforcement” going on. We camped next to the train and it was wonderful. Cold beers in the fridge.

Basically a parking lot next to the highway and train tracks but the price is right at $135/week for electric and water. Decent wifi, free laundry ($3 donation requested), hot shower with great pressure, and a kitchen with microwave and large sink. It's not fancy by any means but less than a mile from the center of Marfa.

Warning for the pups: put on booties or check paws often for needle-like stickers. They ruined the bottoms of my flip flops while walking around and I can only imagine what they would do to 🐾!

Nice little camp stop for travelers on their way through. Bathroom clean and a very good shower. (nice and warm). Not too noisy in my opinion, but we’re in a van. I did however love the train sounds. Our cost= 2 people in a van $25
Liked the feel of the town. Went to ‘Marfa’s Beer Garden’ in the evening and in the morning we visited the famous ‘Marfa Burrito’ for breakfast. (Huge!)

Barebones RV park with 16 spots + a dry camping/tent area.

Dry camping (small vans or truck campers, tents) is $15 for one person or $25 for two.

As other folks have mentioned, it's dusty, lacks shade, and is between a highway and train tracks. But there aren't a lot of options around here. (How can Texas be so big and empty, and yet so lacking in camping opportunities?!)

Not sure if I plan on using the shower as it's a concrete block corner of the bathroom with no windows and a sad flickering light. Toilets are clean. Has an open metal building room with some kitchen stuff.

Nice place with friendly people. It's a bit barren and dusty, almost no shade. Hot showers and building with kitchen and washing / drying machine (donation asked, no fixed price). It could definitely use a cleanup. We payed $27 for a spot, no hookup (with hookup it's $32). There is also an area for vans and tents

$27 for small campervan Inc electricity. WiFi ok but not fast. Kitchen with oven & microwave. A bit barren & bare by day but nice atmosphere despite the noise! At night looks prettier with the lights. There is an area for tents which is gravel or ashphalt. Check yourself for ticks. We got two.

Small RV park just outside of Marfa. It is clean well maintained park with showers bathrooms and laundry. It is located between the railroad tracks and highway so it is a bit noisy. All of the sites have full hookups and there does not appear to be any tent camping. The sites have some space between them and there are area of grass and small trees. The smaller back-in sites are $27 a night and the larger pull through sites are $32.
