Good (small) camping spot, looks like someone s big garden with an open kitchen, hot shower, toilets and a good wifi. Very nice grass area with tables and everything else you need for tents or van.
Very recommmanded
Weird rule : you're not allowed to do your laundry apparently, we figured it out after we did it, it was fine tho.
we didn't need to fill our water tank, not sure if it s possible but you won't need to use your own water.

Stayed one night. 10000 pp for private refugio. Little kitchen at bottom of garden with dining area. Had oven as well as hob. Bit tired but it all worked well. Beautiful surroundings, ?the camping area is an orchard with lots of buzzing bumble bees. Shower was warm enough, good pressure, pretty clean.

Nice campsite in the middle of the town. We are in a motorhome, 7000 peso PP no extra charge for car. Hot shower. Nice lady owner.

super nice place by friendly people. camping would be 7'000clp pp. we rented a double room in the house next by for 30'000clp with shared bathroom (the house has 4 rooms: 1 single and 3 double rooms). There is a kitchen to use inside the house and a table to eat in front of a oven. super clean and highly recommended if you want to hang out for some days. Great supermarket across the street with fresh food etc.

I don't recommand this one. As far as I see in the reviews the owner likes you or doesn't like you. She didn't like us. Maybe because we arrived late? Maybe she does not like kids? Maybe because we did check out 3 minutes late? Maybe because I said it unusual to charge kids at full price (8 y old) or only very low discount (6 y old)? Maybe because I said the shower was cold after 2 minutes and NOT 5 minutes as indicated? Yes, I had my questions but for the price she asks the service is far too low.

Super clean and organized campsite at the very center of Cochrane, close to shops, atm etc. Patricia and her son were very friendly and accommodating. This is a really tranquil place to rest for a couple of days or longer. Great communal area, fast wifi, hot showers, also toilet paper and hand soap.

Perfect location. Supermarket across the street. Other minimercados, bakery, hardware store 5 min walk. Same day laundry service, good wifi, and about 10 electric sockets in the kitchen with 1 stove 6 burners. Lovely owner with lots of info and tips. We were able to camp our pickup and trailer combo (9mtr) close to the kitchen. Anything bigger than a campervan will be difficult.

Nice campground, not the cheapest but very convenient. Nicely mowed lawn, very central location, clean, warm (not hot) showers and refugio where you can cook. I love the swings. Wifi works well. They offer laundry services too.

Small place centrally located. Quiet and very friendly owners.

Very crowded and only three electric sockets which are located in the kitchen area. I couldn't get on the WiFi often. "access point currently full" message.
Shower has a notice to use no longer than 7 minutes. There're two showers and two toilets.
Found it hard to relax with the overcrowding.
Owners put on a barbecue for Christmas dinner for everybody for free. It was a wonderful surprise for Christmas.
Most people left on the 26th.
Great location and ambience. Electric sockets around the site would have had me stay a bit longer since I could have worked away from the crowd.

Best camping in Cochrane! Pati the owner is amazing. Still 5000 clp for camping, 6000 clp for a bed in a refuge (4 bunk beds) and 8000 clp for a more private bed.
I ended up staying for Christmas and Pati invited the asado de cordero for everyone.
The showers are hot, the WiFi is good, the place nice and tidy, the kitchen has a gas stove and a wood stove for heating. Only one sheltered tent space. I highly recommend this camping.
PS: Pati wants to have a book exchange shelve for travelers so if you have books that you want to give away to help her start it, that's the place.

Great economical place with the warmest welcome in Chile. Kitchen is only a place and gasstove. Few pans.
Close to everything. Wifi was fast as we were only with a few people.

Just a confirmation of all the previous reviews.
5000 CLP for camping.
6000 CLP for a bed in the refugio.
8000 CLP for a private single room.
Hot water, small kitchen/living room area (covered), very good WiFi.
You can't do your laundry but if it's just some underwater, nobody will bother you.

5.000$ pp and 2.000$ for our van. Nice owner helped us to find a good spot for our car as there is not that much space, only for tents. But it was perfect for us to stay in front of his house. The WiFi was very fast in the morning, in the evening it was average. There are only two small rooms with a toilet and a sink, so during rush hours one has to wait a little bit. The showers are separate in two other rooms.

Could be VERY crowded! We put up our tent in the afternoon and until evening there were tents all around very close (see foto).
Campsite and facilities are clean. WiFi was OK until the place was crowded.

Nice small campground for approx. 20 small tents.
Wifi is available. Shower was cold in the morning. Location is fine, close to the center. We paid 5000 pp plus 200 for the van.

Camped here the first night we arrived in Cochrane. There is a relatively small yard with almost no room for rigs. The area was filled with small tents for bicyclists and backpackers. They did make a space for our truck and roof-top tent, but no more than one would fit. There are two bathrooms and two showers. The laundry service was fast, 7000 Chilean pesos per load. The camping was 12,000 for two people and the truck. We chose to go to Cecilia’s the next night - it is more spacious and quiet.

Good central location and a functioning stove in the kitchen. It was very crowded when I was there as its small and popular. I dont care for their prohibition on handwashing laundry. I need to wash a little bit every day and am certainly not paying 5000 for the service.

Never seen a place like this.
The lady who owns this place makes you feel like at home. no barking dogs or other animals like the rest of campings, good wifi.

Definitely the most centrally located camping in Cochrane. Less than a 5 minute walk to several different markets, lots of cafes, restaurants and the central plaza. WiFi was pretty fast in my experience, showers alternated between hot and cold. The cooking area is very nice.

We didn't stay here but got our laundry done for CLP 5.000 per load washed and dried. Super friendly owner, clean clothes, can definitely recommend. We will create a separate laundry entry as well as so far, no other laundry places have been created for Cochrane and we were not looking for camping, just for laundry and found this place.

Nice camping with flat ground and some trees in the backyard of the host family. Good wifi, sheltered kitchen with gas stoves, hot showers and clean bathrooms! There are even some hammocks and swings in the garden. The hosts keep the place quite clean and try to make it comfortable for everyone. Although they are a bit petty about people doing their laundry as they are offering a laundry Service for 5000 pesos.
price for camping is 5000 per person
be aware, it's crowded in main season!

Lovely campsite! The best we've stayed in this area so far.
Perfect grassy and mostly flat ground, not stony (good for the stakes). Good equipped kitchen with some spices and a lot pots and pans. Wifi works good if you stay near the house. Hot showers 24 hours. Plugs are available in the kitchen.
Price: $5000/person/night in a tent.
Laundry is $5000 for a big bag.
There's a minimercado right across the street and a supermarket, bakery, hardware store, ATM and a café/restaurant at the central square 100m away

Also nice to just hang out a day, they have hammocks and nice benches and chairs in the garden.

Now 5000 pesos per person. They have WiFi, 2 hot showers, kitchen with a stove and some plates. We parked our Nissan Pathfinder on their territory.

The place has a nice lawn for tents, but campers are not allowed there. For campers there is only one spot directly at the entrance. Therefore we didn't stay. Fee is CLP 4000 per person.

friendly host. weak and slow wifi. kitchen with gas. 2showers but only 1toilet. hot water is okay. fruit trees. a hut as kitchen. the lady cleans all the pots and kitchen every day, very good!! 4000chp.
invaded by israeli on the first night, second night more calm but therefore a dog emptying the trash and getting stuck inside the camping.
a decent place with clean but simple kitchen.
