Ok spot for one night before or after surfing. Noisy because of the highway.
FYI: Gas station is not a PEMEX anymore
Report Check-InI went to the restaurant and asked them if I can park there for the night. They say yes. There is also an Oxxo, a gas station and a surf shop. This is quite a busy road. It calms down a little bit at night. No one else was boondocking. The parking lot is full in rhe daytime. It is just in front of the trail that goes to the beach. The trail is easy to follow even if it is in the wood. I don’t understand the 2019 comment about signs saying you can’t go there. We didn’t see any. The waves were beautiful and good for beginners. You can rent a board at the surf shop. Bottles of beers, cans and broken glass on the parking lot. Nobody bother us.
Report Check-InThings are changing quickly in La Lancha. We didn't understand everything but they try to relocate the access to the beach. There are security guards by the parking and by the beach. Everyone continues to use the first access though there are signs that say you shouldn't and some you should 🤔. We slept in the little pull out by the road and it was a horrible night. Way to close to the road and traffic through the whole night. The parking in the pemex is also very close to the road. Following night we went to the new official parking they are making. Wide leveled gravel parking, a little bit protected from the road, much nicer. It's 300m away from this gps, we were alone, no one bothered us. We cooked and moved around the van outside freely. Beach access is almostcas direct and you don't have to crouch under sign that say you shouldn't walk there like the first access.
Report Check-InStayed at the parking lot just down the road from the Pemex. Great spot to boondock and enjoy the surf!
Report Check-InSlept one night. chill place on opposite side of the road from surf school even though it's located next to a busy road. if you rent a board they have showers. Nice 5-10min walk to the beach and perfect wave for beginners.
Report Check-Inparking on other side of surfshop.
slept 1 night to get up early for surf. it was ok and the road wasn't extremely busy. one other camper. Bring mosquito spray!
Very nice beach with good waves. Nice clear water not too much currents. Spots with shades by the trees. You can park on the side of the highway or at Pemex.
