Well-located, well-maintained hostel about four blocks north of the main street. Parking for cars and motos in their own lot behind the hostel. Pleasant common areas - lounge with sofas and a breakfast area with a kettle and microwave. I paid 8,800 for one person in a twin room, which at current “blue” rates is about $34, which doesn’t seem bad for Ushuaia. Breakfast is a reasonable coffee and croissants. It’s well heated. You may have to open a window if you’re not a hot-house plant. This place seems to divide opinion but I stayed four nights and I’d happily stay here again.
Report Check-InHigh season prices 2017-8 we paid $1200ap for a twin with private and a kitchenette and secure parking out back. Reasonable rooms clean with good heating and ok wifi, better in the large lounge area upstairs with a view over mountains, near supermarket and downtown.
Report Check-InSeriously overpriced hostel in an expensive city. Stayed 2 nights in a twin room solo, charged Arg$950/night. Room was very tired and not the cleanest. Beds were 'will used'. Breakfast was worst so far in South America, stale bread and butter, no jams no cheese, nada. Off street parking only plus point.
