Something not right?

Description

Just below the church on the way to the other wild camp we found this wide open field before you cross the river. Peaceful night BUT there is evidence that partys may happen (trash). However for Mexico, there is very little trash! We parked by this abandoned building. We did feed a drunken Turamura last evening but he seemed harmless.

Latest Check-Ins

Just an update that I confirmed with local police still an available campsite.

Report Check-In

There were a couple of cars parked up when I arrived on a Friday evening, with a few guys stood around drinking beer and playing music. I asked them if they thought it would be a safe/peaceful place to stay; they were pretty quick to say probably not, and that I'd be better off getting a hotel room or at least parking up at the plaza, saying it's where people come to get drunk and partly.

Both cars left soon after though and I took a chance and stayed; didn't hear another soul all night, super peaceful. Note that it may well have been quieter than usual though given the pandemic (Chihuahua state in the 'red' at the time of writing)

Report Check-In

There is a new wall with a gate, inside a new basketball place, there children played the evening we arrived. First we parked outside of the wall, a lokal passed by and said, please, come in, it's for free and you have more space inside. So we drove in this flat grassy area, we were very welcome by the kids who played there, in the night it was quiet and we had a safe night. Later, the one who told us we should stay inside came just for check, if anything is okay, really friendly. There is even a stinky Toilette whole, if you need, better when nothing.
