Good supermarket. There were two people in the car park waving a rag. So they probably wanted to wash our van while we were shopping. One of us stayed with the van and everything was fine.
Report Check-InCalimax was a good supermarket. The unsavory characters in previous might have been approaching their van to offer a car wash possibly. good farmacia as well.
Report Check-InGreat grocery store and well located but beware of leaving your vehicle unattended.
The residents and transient workers in this area are quite destitute, and while we always feel safe in Baja, we had a few unsavoury characters approach our van when we pulled in. When we decided for one of us to stay with the van, they moved on. Be aware of your surroundings!
That said, Baja is very safe and I have had the same concerns in many larger US cities.
Report Check-InExcellent grocery to provision. Clean , wide selection fresh veg. Butcher / meats look good. Lots of other little things that aren’t always easy to find in Baja
