Description

There is a large parking lot at the base of an abandoned ski area. No facilities, but the road is often plowed in winter. On weekends this place can be busy with locals drinking around bonfires and such.

Latest Check-Ins

beginning of the mount becher trail, we came here because we wanted to hike this trail but otherwise as others said, not worth the drive up to here just for a free night, the gravel road is horrible and its quite steep, there's no beautiful view and it's quite chilly compare to nymph falls (which is 15 minutes drive, has pit toilet and you can have a dip to cool down after a hike

Report Check-In

just a dirt road. ok for sleeping. no toilets. some houses 1/2 km away.

Report Check-In

large gravel parking. the road is a little steep with lots of sharp turns but it's a maintained gravel road.
don't come here it you expect to see a abandoned site or a nice free camp. it's not worth the drive. every amenity of the previous skill hills has been removed. but lots of hikes here!!
