Something not right?

Description

A nice, quiet, grassy place right on the river in a dead end street about 600 m from the center of the beautiful little town of Tlacotalpan. Before pulling in we asked a neighbor and he said: ‘No problema quedarse’. There’s is even a pretty fast open WIFI. Free.

Latest Check-Ins

didn't stay in this exact spot but another identical looking spot a block further out (from town) grass lane between two buildings facing river, didn't ask anyone if we could stay because both buildings appeared empty at the time, no-one bothered us, humid, plenty of mosquitos, access to river very easy but plenty of rubbish to navigate pass first, ok for 1 night

Report Check-In

It is not a place to sleep or park, we clearly did not dare!

slept there in our car for 1 night, the town is very sweet and feel safe. there was no one in the houses from both sides so even when we hang the bell the to get permission to stay there was no one to answer. during the night people came to sit there 2 or 3 times but there were friendly and some left to not bother us to sleep. good spot as everybody here write before.

Stormy weather when we arrived in this colourful pueblo. Found 2 hidden ATM's and this also hidden spot between 2 houses. Right side was partly a ruin but we rang one of the doorbells infront and asked permission to sleep in the grassy part next to them. No problem. Hope it will stay calm.

Tlacotalpan is a cute little colonial town. This spot is at the end of a one lane road that ends at the river between two houses. It is level and grassy. There is access to the river but we did not swim here. For swimming we walked back to town and jumped off the boat docks. The town itself is quite beautiful and clean and quiet, the Plaza's are very nice. This spot is very quiet at night. There are paid Baños all around town and the market is good for produce.
Hardly anybody came by, a few teenage couples to make out and the guy who lives next door who didn't cause us any grief.
