Small Beach just under the bridge. For tent campers there is a good grass area and can even put your tent under the bridge for shelter. Good Fishing. Good views. No Facilities. Free.

We slept one night at this point in a roof tent. It is an open space under the bridge, it is possible to stay in the open space or closer to the bush, among the trees. There was a lot of trash in the trees, apparently used as a bathroom. But there are other places to camp... Cars enter very calmly, and the night was peaceful...
Report Check-Ingreat spot, lots of space and shelter with the bridge. good for camping
Report Check-InGood place to one nigth or strong rían, river side yelcho, fishung it’s very good
Report Check-InGiven a choice, we’d have gone elsewhere but had cycled far enough.
Maybe better out of season
There are no signs suggesting you can’t camp here
The blackberry bushes are it’s one redeeming feature
Report Check-Inthere's now plenty of signs saying it's prohibited to camp here. apparently was too popular and disturbed the neighboring expensive hotel/camping
Report Check-Ingreat spot, many people, almost full, kind of dirty (remember to take the trash with u and to co ver ur s**it with soil please) lots of fishermans and mosquitos, repelent works fine.
Report Check-InA busy location.
When we arrived there were ~10 tents.
Quite close to the bridge. Otherwise a good spot to stop for a night. Nothing mu h to do if you don't fish.
Report Check-InLarge, flat, wind protection, not visible from the road if you hide under the bridge (doesn't looks like it's in good shape), very bad smell because all of the crap and garbage around. Looks like people use it as a toilet. No mobile signal. Accessible for all kinds of vehicles.
Report Check-Ingood and crowded, huge space , close to the River and cóver to the wind on the middle of the trees if It rains below the bridge is good
Report Check-Innice spot. very popular, there were a lot of people when we went there. quiet except for some road noise.
Report Check-InWow! Nice spot. A few locals where fishing salmon. The water is so clear. If you look down from the bridge, you see a lot of them swimming! Shared this spot with five other overland couples. Made a campfire with each other in the evening. Nice vibe!
Report Check-InNice place next to the river, water is drinkable, we used it for cooking. It rained the hole night, we stayed in our tent under the bridge and stayed dry.
Report Check-InNice place with multiple spots. River water is cold but great for a quick „shower“. Arrived Thu and left Fri: were the only ones here.
Report Check-InArrived here quite late on a rainy night. Missed the little road that takes you directly under the bridge- probably a good thing as we saw in the morning that it was very wet there! Parked on the gravel patch just before the river- room for a few vans/cars there. Just be aware if you park there that you are in full view from the bridge. Wasn’t an issue though. Good spot right next to a clean river.
Report Check-InThird time passing by. It's a really nice spot to stop for a night or two when not many tourists are around. Fresh water, shelter from the rain (the bridge), food if you know how to catch (fishes), wood for fires, etc. Sad to see how it gets polluted through the years as pavement advances... Try to burn some of it if you make a big fire. Try to keep the place clean please, it's nice to use whenever someone passes by, but it's sad to see how pollution starts to dominate the landscape.
Report Check-InIt saved us on a rainy night. Parking under the bridge is always a good option if you have an outdoor cooking station like us and a rooftop tent. The next morning it was clear, the river has an incredibly blueish color, views from the glaciar and mountains too. Plenty of Leveled space under the bridge. Open the gate and go in. Some trash around.
Report Check-InWe parked our campervan nearly at the beach, where we were visible from the bridge but enjoyed a nice view on the river. Good place to stay!
Report Check-Inthere were about 10camps (20-25ppl) when I got here. All Chileans, all friendly. Watch where you put your tent, there are drainage pipes from the bridge that take the water under the bridge. Guys next to me packed up at 4am with water draining all over them.
The foot path to the east has some tricky, but great fishing holes. I could see some pretty big fish, but none went for my spinner!
Nice view, room for a bunch of overlanders to park next to each other. Popular fishing spot and clean river water (from nearby glacier?). Sometimes hear the heavier vehicles driving over the bridge above, but mostly quiet.
Report Check-InGreat spot for when it is raining, sheltered by the bridge. Made a fire, had some whisky with soaked overlanding cyclists. First time we slept under a bridge:)
Report Check-Innice place... stayed 1 night, great spot to swimming or fishing, seems to be a place were they drop small boats. the entrance is a small gate witch if it's close, just open. it's a free area. we saw an ambulance stop chilling too... calm place.
Report Check-InGood place, we stayed one night
Some construction work until 8:30pm
Two fishermen but otherwise very quiet at night
Good place to sleep one night ! There were some locals fishing and another campervan arrived late and spent the night here also. But there is a lot of flat space.
Report Check-InIt's not the greatest view and the place is a little dirty. But it's a very good spot to fishing!!!
Report Check-InPerfect spot under the bridge, the entrance is 50 meters past the bridge. There is a fence but you just have to open it as there is no lock. Please bring out your own garbage and if you can help clean the place a bit. No one take care of free camping sites and it depend on us to keep the places clean an open, otherwise free camping will die due to pollution which is cause by ourselves. (Read about la junta's bridge here in the app)
Report Check-Inleaf the mainroad at pos. s43.17667 w44.156 and drive approx. 200m down to the river/lake. it's poss. to stay under and beside the bridge. over all not too bad here, if you ignore the rubbish. Maybe a good fishing spot.
Report Check-InIt's an "ok" place to stop, we stayed just beacuse my husband wanted to fish... and he did!!! NOTE: if you want to fish, cross the bridge to the east side and go down the path to the south. That's the spot for fishing!!
Report Check-InNice and beautiful. We have breakfast here and we have fresh fruits (Blackberry) - great! Anotber camper comes here too....! Good tip!
Report Check-InIt was raining when we arrived at this spot. But in the morning, the view was wonderful. Some overlanders were already under the bridge so we parked near the water. No wind, very quiet at night.
Report Check-InSmall Beach just under the bridge. For tent campers there is a good grass area and can even put your tent under the bridge for shelter. Good Fishing. Good views. No Facilities. Free.
