Description

We asked the restaurant owner if we could park overnight and he said no problem - that It is safe. We had a spot across from the Restaurante Cayaquitos just behind their beach palapas. There is a Long Beach for walking, gentle waves. We are in a 24’ class C RV and had no problem getting here. The 300 meter road in from MEX 200 is cobblestone and rough so take it slow. Quiet! We had dinner at the restaurant and the owner’s son invited us to stay for his stepmother’s birthday party. We stayed here in 2012 for 3 days - this year only one 😢. Camping was free.

Pulled in here because it was getting dark. Like previous reviews we parked down the road a bit in front of some crumbling houses rather than a restaurant as they were closed. Locals just waved at us! Gorgeous spot and feels safe. We did get stuck in the sand further down the road but only because of a poorly executed turn, it's generally pretty hard packed.

Great Place, safe and quiet.
Just drove further down behind the restaurants and stood directly next to the beach. Few friendly locals before sunset, after that no one else. Slwpt with windows open.

Dos noches aquí, muy tranquilo, en la tarde algunos lugareños vienen a bañarse, iluminado y seguro. Están construyendo un hotel y nos dieron agua sin problema.

lovely sandy road along side a beautiful beach. anywhere along here seems a legit spot to spend a night. I even had a quick swim in the Hotel pool at the end of the road. lol
