Quiet and felt safe. But the heat in this city is unbearable!

Nous y avons passé la nuit après avoir passé l’après-midi à visiter la ville. Calme et secure. Bruit de circulation.

A central place, within minutes of restaurants, bars, shops and the Malecón. A safe place, stayed two nights. No one bothered us.

Report Check-In

Stayed on the parking lot inside the park, it was great ! Very quite and felt very safe !
So close from the center and close to the ocean to see the sunset ;)
We couldn’t take some water to refill our tank as there were very few pression of water and we couldn’t « plug » our hose to the tap as it was very old.

Amazing! Free and central, felt safe (although the whole town actually feels very safe). Was very empty and calm on a public holiday.

Very clean and well-kept parking near the city center and one block from the boardwalk with a dancing water show.
We stayed 2 nights, no problem.
We recommend arriving in the afternoon because in the morning and at noon it fills up with cars. We were able to fill the water tank from a tap in the square with our hose ;) Little shade and no wifi.

Loved our stay here. Stayed two nights. Downsides: it’s literally a parking lot, and a very busy one. Cars are often double-parked during the day, so make sure you don’t get trapped in! It isn’t a gated lot, which my husband didn’t like. But we didn’t have any security issues. We tried to be very respectful and packed up our tent during the day. Kept our things inside the vehicle. Despite all this, the location is a perfect launching point for seeing the central part of the city. Within minutes, you can be anywhere: the malecon, cathedral, free city museum, 59th street for food, Frappisimo for coffee (has WiFi, so good working spot). Our favorite restaurant was La Maria. It’s so cool to see the wall and guard towers. We have a walking tour video on our YouTube channel if you’d like to see more.

Didn't see/look for the toilets and watertaps.

Great spot to visit the pretty city of Campeche. Newly renovated park, with tons of small parking spaces (not suitable for big rigs). Water available and chemical toilets. Noisy in the evening, but surprisingly quiet during the night.

Report Check-In

The place is reopened: 3 policeman on site all night, shade and public light, pit toilets, water faucet in the plants behind the toilety. If you enter the park, it s good for vans, RV should stay in the street. Quiet night as no heavy traffic is allowed around there.

Report Check-In

Temporarily closed whilst they rebuild the park area. The street one over (north) has free, shaded parking.
