Three year old family run hotel right on the beach near the village of Santa Veronica. Hosts Elkin and Maria speak perfect English and run a delightful beach hotel with pool, bar and restaurant. Room to park outside in front of hotel at edge of beach and use all facilities, including shower and toilet. Tents are ok but it might be a bit tight for a super big rig. Very safe, super friendly and a beautiful spot. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed a wonderful night sleep in our truck camper to the sound of the waves. This is a nice, clean place to stay between Cartagena and Santa Marta. We headed this way after picking up our vehicle via RoRo from the port near Baru. The staff is very friendly. We were able to use WiFi (fast), toilet, shower and pool. We paid 20k pesos per person, which seemed high but we were happy for a good night sleep. Maria speaks wonderful English and we highly recommend.Report Check-In
Really nice breeze, nice family running the place. We paid the same but they asked for double. The only problem was police came at midnight and asked if we were staying with the hotel which was super annoying to wake up. I told them I had paid the hotel and they asked me to move the car 10m closer to it. I told him that’s a lot of work with all the window covers up and he said Nevermind. I moved anyway….might as well run the AC a moment 😜Report Check-In
Parked for free right on the beach, and payed for shower and water on Juanmar hostel. Maria and Elkin are really kind and glad to have travelers nearby. Maybe for being out of season but we enjoyed 24 hours of wonderful silence (except for the sea waves), and refreshing wind. Loved this placed!Report Check-In
Great place to park. Charge only 10,000COP per person for use of wifi, bathroom and pool! Right on the beach. Highly recommend visit to Maria and Elkin’s place.Report Check-In
Spent one quiet night here. And it was Saturday... Nice structure and people.
Priced 10k ppn. Only bad thing is outside shower only... but manageable.
You are locked outside at 10PM.
You can park for free in front of the hotel. 10 pp to use facilities if you choose to use them. the beach is a little dirty but it's good for a night stop over. A little windy, which is great not to melt down.Report Check-In
The owner told us we couldn’t use the facilities cause there was roof works the next day. We just parked on the beach close to the gate because that’s where you anyways park if you want to use facilities. We didn’t use anything and just stayed directly on the beach for free. Nice and windy. Seemed quiet and safe. Good for a night stop overReport Check-In
I can only say positive things about this hotel. Although I slept in my car I was treated with great attention by owners and staff. The food was excellent, I ate more than usual, and prices very fair indeed.Report Check-In
RUM: We were here for 3 days. Very nice place to stand and right on the beach. Price ... 20,000 for 2 persons and night. You can use everything in the hotel. Unfortunately, there is only one outdoor shower 😭. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Coffee is free and the food is very good. After the days we had to wash the car .... SALT.Report Check-In
SALZ.
Spent two night at this place. Right on the beach, wifi, bathroom and shower - all for 10k pp. free coffee all day. Friendly English speaking owners who welcome overlanders.Report Check-In
Awesome stop! We arrived there around 9 AM for breakfast (after an early mud bath at Totumo Volcano). And we stayed all day and night. The place is gorgeous right by the ocean. Great food and fast WiFi. The owners speak great English and are very friendly. We hang out in the restaurant area all day and ate breaksfast lunch and dinner there! We used the pool and toilets no problem. And slept in front of the property. Very pretty and secure.Report Check-In
Great stay! Lovely, warm welcome from the owner. Very friendly staff. Could park anywhere we liked and use the spotless clean bathroom in the restaurant, the refreshing pool, the „rinse off“-shower next to the pool and Wifi for only 20‘000 (2 people in a van). Safe place. Quiet night, but very hot in the van. While we were using the pool in the morning at 7am we got a coffee served - for free! Wow! Highly recommended!Report Check-In
20000 COP per night for 2 of us in the Westy. Spotlessly clean facilities, Nice friendly owners. The shower is one of those meant for rinsing off after swimming. It is public and not for bathing.Report Check-In
