Nice owner. Looks clean. Good facilities. WiFi only at front spaces.
Price 20.000 Chiliean Pesos for 2 persons and a van. Very nice hot showers. Close to Castro

Be careful with the price. The owner wanted me to pay 30.000 but I told him it is too much. He reduced to 20.000. The amenities are okay, clean and hot shower.
Report Check-InWe stayed one night 2p and motorhome and paid CLP 20,000. I would say best option for Castro. Very good hot showers and facilities look very clean. Tabels covered with light and electricity at sites. Sufficiently away from main road (Ruta 5) so noise limited. Place for bigger rigs. Recommend this place.
Report Check-InPagamos 25.000 pesos chilenos para 2 personas en motorhome, el baño no tenia agua caliente, decia que habia wifi y no lo ponía a disposición. Baños sucios, camping mal mantenido.
Report Check-InWe were the first guests of the season, therefore the sites were still overgrown with grass and the shower and toilet building needed cleaning. The latter was promptly cleaned and
the grass at our site and near the facilities
cleared the next day. Carlos, presumably the owner, was friendly and helpful and fired up the caldera so we had hot showers in the evening. Caveat: he surcharged us 5000 CP per day for hot water on top of 20,000 CP for two plus our camper, which we thought was pretty stiff. Not sure if the 5K is charged standard to those wanting a hot shower. If yes, then you might be paying for your fellow camper's hot water and vv..... Nevertheless, we decided to stay because it was beautiful place with lots of trees and good and clean showers and toilets and very quiet.
Only guests on a nice campground. Covered tables with power outlets. CLP 15.000 for 2 persons and a van. Also included firewood. No hot showers. Bathrooms really dirty. WiFi available at the front spaces.
Report Check-InThey wanted now 20000 COP for 2p and a small rv. Finally paid 15000 COP. WiFi only works near reception. Warm shower on request. Would not go back
Report Check-InLarge terrain on hill, far enough from road to be quiet. Each pitch has a picnic bench under a roof. Electricity at sites, fast wifi near entrance. Messy general room with braai. Well maintained ablutions. Shower was cold due to out-of-season maintenance. CLP 10,000 (2 adults, camper).
Report Check-InSurprisingly nice, large campground on a hill behind some cabanas. Every site has a palapa with pick nick table and benches. The (wood heated) showers were nice and hot - only required some advance notice to lite the fire and warm it up. We did it ourselves the second time. The water by the (clean) toilets is drinkable. Plenty of firewood. Wifi is fast but only down by the reception. There is a bit of wifi available when sitting on the swings facing down. Big beautiful trees on site. Grassy lot. Pet friendly although they have a not so friendly female dog. We paid 10000 per vehicle for two people and 8000 for a single traveler that was with us. Quite enjoyed our stay.
Report Check-InWe paid 12.000 CLP per night and it was not worth the money. Hot shower in the morning hours was promised but wasn't working despite several attempts by the owner to fix it. No bins. On a positive note the bathrooms were cleaner than at some other campsites. Prices for camping in castro seem to be quite inflated compared to the mainland in general.
Report Check-InNice owner, he overcharged for the facilities (cold showers and dirty toilets). Wifi apparently only works if you walk to the cabanas down the slope. We were one of two campers and paid 14.000 pesos. The other camper paid 12.000 per night for a stay of two nights. So it's negotiable. We guess that in season this campsite is worthwile with more facilities open.
Report Check-InParking places are set back from the road. Foghorns and firepits. We negotiated to 10,000 pesos. Difficult to wild camp around here. Seemed the best of the options.
