Very nice view at the end of the parking 5000cop not to be missed or opportunity to climb to the top of the granite monolith (659 steps) for 18000cop per person.
Très belle vue au bout du parking 5000cop a ne pas rater ou possibilité de grimper en haut du monolithe de granit (659 marches) pour 18000cop par personne.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We went up at the end of the day and it was pretty quiet. Amazing bit of rock even if the trappings are a bit over the top. The kids loved it, especially racing up the steps.
Report Check-InLots and lots of people! Entrance costs 25000COP as soon as you are over 1m20 tall. We parked for free on the small dirt road that goes up to the gas station. The view is beautiful but we found it really too touristy and ultimately expensive for what it is.
Report Check-InParking was a pain... You must pay at the parking Tiennda (shop) at the end of the car park on the right hand side.
I have up loaded a photo.
Report Check-InEntry fee is still 25000 pP, but we payed 6000 for parking (2 hours).
We came at 8am, and everything was already open and people were already at the top, but it wasn’t too busy luckily.
The price is now 25.000 COP per Person.
Children under 1,20meter didnt pay.
The parking fee is now 2000 COP per hour.
At the ticket office and on the top are very clean toilettes for free. So don’t pay at the ground or Restaurant for this.

Report Check-Inpark opens at 830am, get here before 10 and you will have it basically to yourself. then the buses start showing up and you'll be bumping elbows with a thousand people.
Report Check-In5K cop for 2hrs. of parking, extra for every hour after that, nice spot though 😁
Report Check-InNow it's 20'000 pesos to climb! But I don't know for the parking...
Report Check-InNice 360 degree view on the top.
Still COP 18‘000 pp. The bus from Guatapé costs COP 2‘000 to the gas station at the foot of the hill.
MUST DO when in Guatapé. $5,000 COP to park the van. There are many souvenir shops, restaurants, and spots where you can take in the view without going to the top of the rock. However, we paid the $18,000 COP per person and, for us, it was worth it. The views were simply spectacular from up there.
Report Check-InTo the top there are 737 steps, we are not sporty, but we made it with no problems.
We liked the view from the top.
5.000 COP for parking
18.000 COP/person entrance fee
On the other side of the rock (west) there are some climbing routes. If you have your own equipment including rope it's worth it, amaizing views!
Report Check-InGreat view on Guatape from the car park. I think the climb it's not worth it. 18k COP to have a similar view from the mirador where is coffee shop, souvenirs shop and a lot of garbages. The mirror on top close as 5pm.
Report Check-InAsked if we could park overnight. Guard said yes! Then....after we were all set up, another guard came and said we had to go. Would have been an awesome night with a great view. We even tried to offer to pay extra, no deal. Maybe another time, another guard?
