Very nice hike! Steep as mentioned before, but doable if you take your time. Can get windy. Sign which says Cerrado still there but the track is clear and in good condition. Very good views from the top!

We really enjoyed this hike! Started from motorhome campground and it took 4.5 hours return. Steep trail, especially near top but in good shape overall and pretty. Goes in and out of woods, flowers, grasses and incredible views. At Mirador partway up there is a Trail Closed sign. But we asked at the ranger station and it means from that point up you are " on your own". Must be a liability thing. It's cold at the top, bring warm clothes. It wasn't hard coming down the scree if you're used to it.

We clocked in 10.5km RT. There's a steep section a little over halfway up as well as at the end -- the final climb is sometimes very steep loose scree so definitely bring poles for balance. View at the top spectacular -- we could see Torres del Paine as well as Lago Roca and Lago Argentina and Perito Moreno Glacier. Go early to avoid the heat of the day! Lots of little flies at the top so wear bug spray and definitely sunscreen.

A lovely hike, even on a cloudy day. There are steps parts about 60% of the way up and then right at the end but you can get amazing views of the lakes and Perito Merino glacier without going more than half way. The final stretch to the last peak is a bit brutal. Apparently on a good day you can see Torres del Paine, and Fitz Roy- but we weren't so lucky. Take waterproofs and sun cream, the weather changes quickly at the top!

Good hike, but I think you should know that it's about 3 to 4 hours constantly walking up hill before you walk the same road down. beautiful views but since some parts are really steep and on dusty sand, don't make the hike after some rain cause it definitely will be slippery. But after all definitely worth it, and if you're lucky you can even see Torres del Paine!

Very nice hike, on a sunny day, with no clouds the view is amazing. You can see the Perito Moreno glaciar, mountains with snow, and Torres del Paine. The trail is ok, the last part is a bit slippery, with a lot of stones and sand.

superb views, also of perito moreno. loved it. approx 1000m of elevation and around 6km one way. beware that it is indeed very steep in places, we had dry days now and was easy enough to walk, might not be much fun on mud. would still be worth going up and enjoying the views even if the mud is inpassable - views and possibilities for lookouts throughout.
we are fastish hikers and used to elevation gain, did it in 1.30h up and 1h down, but calculate according to what you feel, just wanted to state that the indicated 4h up would be quite an overestimation for many :)
