We went as 1 latino and 1 foreigner. My husband was born in Venezuela (although now has an American passport), but they didn’t ask for ID. 40 for him, 70 for me. Dogs allowed :)

Report Check-InFriendly staff. Left toilets open. Covered from the wind but not from the cold weather! Still, a good option if you want to make it to the mirador early. You are 7min away. No need to go at 7 unless you want to be on your own and quiet. Condors get closer by 9am. Latinos pay 40 soles, out of South America 70.
Report Check-InCareful! The guys at the checkpoint told me the ticket is for the car checkpoints and the ticket only mentions car checkpoints. However you also need to bring the ticket when you go hiking. they will send you back to your car to pick it up if you forget it.

Report Check-InWe slept here in our vw bus. Flat areas. Nice bathrooms open all night. Water available. And we asked the night guard for electricity and he let us use the bathroom socket with an extension. We gave him a tip and unplugged at 6am before he left and other workers came.
