very nice camping free, showers hot, electricity, agua potable, border river, inscription office de tourisme
Report Check-InA wonderful spot and little village on the river. We think you should register at the tourist office near the pier but not essential. An employee come around in the morning with a form for us to register and provided maps and brochures of the region. All for free
Report Check-Innice spot and very safe however, would never come here on a weekend. was here on a Sunday and it was busy and loud until 2am.
Report Check-Inee stay 3 nights, very nice campground . electricity, toilets, hot shower and water all for free.
Report Check-InVery nice free campground at the river. Clean hot showers (old but alright), toilets, electricity, barbecue and picknick places. Quiet at night (Saturday!).
River good for bathing, need bathing shoes (stones). No sand for children.
Lots of mosquitos.
Report Check-InUpdate. The boiler in the women’s shower has been replaced today! Also power went off at 10pm yesterday when a light bulb exploded but 3 men were up a ladder (well only one was actually up the ladder) at 9am and power was back on in time for our first cup of tea! Hows that for service on a free camp site.
Report Check-InLovely place and no problem camping at the moment. I suspect that at peak times they don’t allow camping so that the locals can use it, otherwise it probably fills up with Argentinians.
Shower only hot in the in the mens side, and only the end shower is useable. To avoid getting scalded turn the cold tap on first and obtain maximum flow (which is very little) then adjust hot to get a half reasonable shower. showers old but cleaned every day and all bins empted
Got away with one night here. delightful place. This afternoon (we were hoping to stop tonight too) a couple of nice young ladies turned up with a clipboard and made clear that there was no camping. seems OK if you want to park and party til 5am though! No dramas. it is worth a turn off the Ruta 24 as there are hot showers, electric plug ins and BBQ pits etc.
special place where you can probably blag a night here.
Nice and safe place to stay. As we arrived on a Saturday the place was a bit crowded and noisy, but after midnight the party was over.
Report Check-InLarge area to camping, very clean and calm during the week. At weekends to much movement of locals. There is s building of Tourism secretary where is possible to access the Wi-Fi, with great service of the attendants. We highly recommend this spot. We stayed for 8 days. All free.
Report Check-InPlace is great. There is a bit of flooding and some people seem to permanently stay here, so we went a few hundred metres south and stayed on the grass fields. Great views. If you need WiFi ask at the nee tourist info or find the school a few blocks from the beach.
Report Check-InParked further away from the BBQ, maybe 300 m, in the low grass. Plain sun, breeze and no music. Park along the riverbank wherever you wish.
Report Check-InGreat stop on our way north, plenty of tables/grills to choose from, views of the river with a stunning sunset, and quiet overnight
Report Check-Innice place, but at saturday night to sunday there was loud disco music from the building until 6 o'clock in the morning,
Report Check-InMuy bueno local para RV's y carpas. Amplio, con energia y água disponible free. Abierto al Rio Uruguay con una playa chica y muelle para pesca.
Report Check-InIf showers or bathrooms are closed, you can go 700mts from here to El Municipio (33 orientales street and 18 de julio av.) and tell them you will stay here and somebody will come to open it for you. This place is free, open all year. If crowded or you prefer a little more privacy there is a similar area on the opposite of town, 1.5km east, but services (electricity, hot showers) not always functional there.
Report Check-InThere is very good place for sleeping here and safe, you can have sleep for free ! there bathroom and shower close!
Report Check-InClose to the river some places were still a bit muddy because of the flood some weeks before. But still a nice free place with water and electricity available. Also Open Toiletes, but showers were closed.
