not much places to stay in this area if you are coming from antofogasta de la sierra. little turn off on the left side coming from the south. the road is mudy but driveable with 4x2. follow this road the the first time you can go left go left. its a deadend road so you can stay on the road. pay attention off the road it gets sandy so donˋt get stuck. if you want you can also drive the mudy road further to find a place.

Spent a night here. i would say there are msny such places going from Antofagasta until Salar de Pocitos but not further. Beautiful dunes are everywhere if you don't mind bring seen from the road.
Report Check-InThanks for sharing this beautiful place!
Very quiet and peaceful escape from annoying traffic on RP17 (Lorries between Pocitos and Mina Fenix).
very nice and quiet place after the rough RP43. Do not hesitate to go 1km further where the scenery is magic. No wind at all after 10PM. We named the place «Mars la Rouge»!
Report Check-InVery nice area near a Laguna. For us Not muddy at all, very remote and fantastic landscape. We found many other possibilities on the way from Antofagasta but this is one of the best!
