Boat Ramp at the entrance to Cypremort Point State Park. We spent the day in the quiet State Park at the sandy and grassy beach with shaded picnic tables and free wifi. For the night we moved just out of the park to the adjacent big boat ramp. Can only stay in the park itself overnight if you have a tent and pay $6/night
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Road to the RV parking at the stste park was closed with barriers. I did not stay.
Report Check-InCamping at the state park is closed until January 2024. The boat launch didn’t look too good so we moved on.
Report Check-InThe location was nice with a huge parking lot. There was a sign that said you need to pay $1.00 for parking. The police came by early evening and said if I wanted to be in a darker place I could park near the gate of the state park. There is a porta potty that was fairly clean and a dumpster. A bear came to visit the dumpster around 10 pm and we scared him off. If you decided to stay here beware of bears.
Report Check-InAs described. State park is actually adding a dozen of RV sites with full hookup.Shall be available summer 2023. Will be a great place to stop.
Report Check-InAll the other comments are still accurate. Nice and quiet sleep at the boat ramp. There was another RV. Went to the park for the day. They told me that if I stayed too long in the boat ramp I may have issues, but looks like 1-2 nights is ok with paying 1$ per day (midnight to midnight).
Report Check-InThere are cold showers at the park. There are also covered picnic tables and a nice area for swimming. The park host, Paul, is very nice. Look him up when you go to the park.
Report Check-Init is a parking lot for the boat ramp. Parking is $1 a day. It is quiet. We were alone at night. A sheriff is walking by. Fires are prohibited. There is a construction toilet. No tables but you can picnic on the grass. There is a beautiful sunset. There is a park nearby that closes night and day, it costs $3 per person. We didn't go there.
Report Check-InJust as described. Nice large parking lot, quite bright but for $1 it’s a great overnight place.
Report Check-InAs previously stated, park in the ample (5 football field) boat landing parking area, and make sure you pay 1$ at the meter near the launch, and put your ticket on the dash. There was a Sheriff in the parking lot when i arrived, and we had a friendly chat. He confirmed that overnight parking for 1-2 nights was allowed, and just to buy the ticket.
Report Check-InNice quiet place with shore birds. The parking kiosk charges $1 per day and the rangers checked for the ticket on our windshield. The state park is free for people over 62!
Report Check-InFine to park here overnight. It was quiet and there are streetlights on all night in the boat ramp. There is a port-o-pottie but no other facilities.
Report Check-InGreat place to spend the day w/ family and friends. Plenty of covered, Picnic tables w/ trash and BBQ grills. There's a male and female bathroom facility. For overnight stay, you'd have to stay in the rental cabins, stay in boat ramp parking lot, or rent a covered camp site from the locals outside the park. Fishing area available and you can launch small boats from the fishing area bank. Awesome, friendly staff.
Report Check-InYou can't sleep in the park (toilet, shelters for tables and large spaces) but in the parking lot at the entrance it's perfect for one night. Quiet and calm. Chemical toilet in the parking lot.
