Wild camping by the side of a giant Baobab tree approx 8 kms off the main road, peaceful & quiet location. Cattle & goats around and a few friendly locals passing by.
No facilities but great for a nights camp. The road takes you past the old tank & military wrecks then continue until you see the giant Baobab tree - you will not miss it. Also many other camping possibilities close by.

As per previous descriptions. Lovely place and stunning sunset. We spent 2 nights in here right after border crossing.
Report Check-InWe checked out the non really amazing baobab and drove a little further. We didn’t stayed here cause of too many kids.
We drove a little further and entered the bush on the left to find ourselves a perfectly quiet spot with open view of the sunset. You can hear the road but it kinda quiet.
Good spot for one night before the border. We actually stopped on the track a bit closer to the road than this point because the big tree had a few people there. Peaceful night, beautiful baobabs, friendly waves from people. No problem staying here. We think we saw bigger baobabs in Senegal ;) ;) ;)
Report Check-InStill here ;) Local elder was super friendly and happy for me to camp here, Geraldino I think his name was…
Report Check-InAgreed, nice spot and indeed a massive tree. Quite a lot of insects about in the evening (the kind that LOVE our LED light!) but worth putting up with this and the sandy drive in for a really peaceful sleep in a pretty spot.
Report Check-InThis place is certainly worth the effort to go down the sandy track... even if it is late at night! We went to bed watching a storm in the distance and awoke to a freshly rained on Baobab, the biggest we've ever seen! If you feel up to it, she's worth climbing too! We saw only 2 cows, a dog and a few curious children in the morning!
Report Check-InWe could not find our way in. Perhaps a future visitor could help others with a way point for a turn off the main road? Thanks .
Report Check-InFriendly locals, did not disturb us. In the morning came and asked us if we slept well.
Report Check-InThis giant is part of a grove of enormous baobabs. It's an amazing place to camp.
Report Check-InIndeed a gigantic baobab tree, one of the largest we've seen in Africa. Some people walked and drove past, but everyone was very friendly.
Report Check-InNice bushcamp for 1 night and the giant baobab is really worth seeing. Some friendly locals passed in the morning.
