Very good value for the money.
Two types of rooms:
Standard at 15.000 zk (8€).
Executive at 20.000 zk (11€).
Very clean, mosquito net, private bathroom with hot water, fan, quiet area, safe parking...
Breakfast included for 2 people. And it was the best breakfast included in 3 weeks in Malawi : eggs, sausage, corn flakes, milk, coffee, tea, butter, bread, juice...
Friendly staff.

Nice place to stay before or after crossing the border. A bit outdated but clean and above all quiet. 10000 MK per vehicle.

Nice option before or after crossing the Zambia to Malawi border. Clean rooms we paid 15000 khwasha for the night for a family room. Nice dinner at 1500 khwashas. Nice and friendly staff. Very close to the village so easy to walk there without taking the car.

Paid 9500 for a room, the cheaper ones were taken. There was no water - I was told something had broken - and I kept being told to ‘wait a few minutes’. After 4h i was told the town did not have water - which was a lie. I was concerned about having no shower the next day so I gave up and asked for my money back and they were not happy. But I got it and left.
Might have stayed- water pumps etc do break- were they a bit more honest.

Got a double room for 10,200 Kwacha. Two big rooms and a bathroom with secure parking. Basic, but was perfect for the night.

Stayed here one night before crossing the border to Zambia. Friendly and helpful staff. Place looks a bit desolate. Food in the restaurant simple and surprisingly ok for the prices asked. Payed 7.800KWA for breakfast and camping for two people.

definitely recommandable!

i got a single room ensuite for 6000mk,
bicycle fits in.

they have a restaurant - delicious beef stew with rice 1500mk.

quite, clean place; very friendly stuff

The obvious choice in town. We paid 12,000 for a big fouble bed and excellent/big breakfast for two. Staff are very nice and helpful. Restaurant on site, no bar. Plenty of space for bikes and cars. Excellent service and great value for money!

It’s not a bad place in this busy little town. Quiet and save. Because there was occupied every room they gave me just a bathroom and I could stay in the rooftop tent. They have a big courtyard, you can drive in, even with big riggs.

Good place, friendly staff. Maps.me sent me to a very narrow road at the back side and I had trouble to turn my Iveco. The correct coordinates of the entrance from south are S13degrees, 47.518‘. E32degrees, 53.204‘.

As described.  They have options from 6k for a single, and then doubles from 7.5k up to 12k. The lady at reception said it included breakfast for the two of us, without us asking. When we showed up at breakfast, they said one of us had to pay, but we told them she said it included two breakfasts and then they gave it for free. So it may have actually been a mistake and should have included one, not sure. Hot water. Very nice staff. Also had dinner here, reasonably priced. Seems very safe. Many other motels on the main street in town, but might be dodgey and right next to loud bars.

Decent rooms ranging from 7500 - 12000, all ensuite. We took the 7500 room with a small double bed, it includes 1 breakfast. 1800 for 1 additional breakfast. They still wash your vehicle, it was super dirty so that was very nice! Friendly staff.

Good stopover if you’re crossing border from Zambia late in the evening. Clean rooms and bathrooms (in the room). We paid 15.000 KW for 3 people with breakfast (cereal, milk, tea/coffee, eggs/omelet, fried potatoes, small and not tasty sausage, toast bread with jam). There is locked gate and a night guard which barely speaks English so it’s hard to communicate. In the morning the same guy washed our car, what was very nice and surprising.

Good value for money if you are to late for the border crossing. Has rooms ranging from 8000 to 10,500 (last prices is for a ensuit with big double bed) breakfast included. And we discoveres that they even cleaned our motorbikes when we left :D
