This is a public site referred to us by a local (employee at state park up the road) to park our van in to sleep overnight. Simple gravel parking lot with a boat ramp. Beautiful and free location!

Pulled up in time for sunset, was really pretty. Not too many parking spots available for big rigs, we woke up early in the morning (Saturday) and we found we were quite in the way of the boaters, so we repositioned ourselves while we ate breakfast. Still great spot for a quick overnight!
Note: long gravel road to get here from south side.
Report Check-InGreat views over Lake Dauterive. Quiet except for a few air boats that flew by. Good grass for dogs and a dumpster nearby. Nobody bothered us and very dark and quiet. Nowhere to walk / nothing to do but camp here.
Report Check-InNice place to camp with very beautiful views over Lake Dauterive. Very quiet and nobody bothered us. Had a few air boats fly by but otherwise quiet and serene. Nothing to do but camp (nowhere to walk). Good grass for dogs and a dumpster nearby.
